Once again Marvel Studios ruled the film panels at Comic-Con, thrilling Hall H attendees with a star-studded, banter-filled finale on Saturday evening.

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige wasted little time firing off a volley of casting news: Michelle Pfeiffer has joinedAnt-Man And The Wasp as Janet Van Dyne - mother to Evangeline Lilly’s The Wasp an wife of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym. while Laurence Fishburne is on board as scientist Bill Foster.

Randall Park will play Agent Jimmy Woo, Hannah John-Kamen is Ghost, and previously announced Walter Goggins Jr was confirmed on the roster.

A new trailer for “Thor: Ragnarok” left the crowd in Hall H crazed during San Diego Comic-Con. And perhaps the biggest surprise comes courtesy of Tom Hiddleston’s character, Loki.

“Loki’s allegiance has always been slightly unpredictable, and he’s still the God of mischief,” Hiddleston said during Marvel’s panel on Saturday where the footage was unveiled. The trailer shows Loki in change and, later, teaming up with Chris Hemsworth’s titular character.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Is Marvel’s Grand Finale At Hall H Presentation – Comic-Con

44 minutes ago | Deadline | See recent Deadline news »

Compared to previous years, Marvel’s Hall H presentation at Comic-Con was brief, this year anchored by two panels — Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther. At the end of the presentation, Marvel boss Kevin Feige gave a wave to the crowd and said that was it. This caused a joyful ire, and Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman and Mark Ruffalo said there was still three Avengers present, then goaded Feige to show more. They bantered back and forth, then were joined onstage by Avengers… »

Thor Loses His Hammer (and His Hair) in the Brand-New Ragnarok Trailer

1 hour ago | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

The wait for Thor: Ragnarok has been painfully long, but luckily the superfun official trailer somewhat makes up for it. After seeing the superhero lose his hammer to Hela (aka goth Cate Blanchett) in the first teaser (below), the new footage sees Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in a race to save Asgard from total destruction. He bumps into a few new faces along the way (hi, Jeff Goldblum!), as well as one very big, very green, very angry, very familiar one. It doesn't hit theaters until Nov. 3, so feel free to watch it on repeat until then. »

Marvel Studios has just released a brand new trailer for November’s hotly-anticipated Thor: Ragnarok, and it’s rather splendid indeed! Check it out here…

During the panel, it was confirmed that the movie takes place four years after Thor: The Dark World, and that Loki has been posing as Odin for all that time. Meanwhile, The Hulk has spent two years on Sakaar (and refused to revert back to Bruce Banner), during which time he’s developed the vocabulary of a two-year old. Meanwhile, The Grandmaster is confirmed as the brother of The Collector, and both are Elders of the Universe.

Some Comic-Con exclusive footage was also shown; here’s a description via Coming Soon…

It begins with Thor strapped to a chair that is moving through a Disneyland like ride. Projections all around him tell the story of Sakaar. It’s a focus point of the universe where “unwanted” things wind up. »

New Thor: Ragnarok Trailer Promises Redemption For The God Of Thunder

2 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Mark Ruffalo promised that it’d be good and boy, was he right.

We are, of course, referring to the brand new trailer for Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, which the studio showed off earlier today during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con, bringing down the roof in the process. If Thor and Thor: The Dark World were somewhat middling affairs, then the upcoming threequel promises to finally bring redemption for the God of Thunder, teasing what looks to be one of Marvel’s strongest efforts yet.

Thrilling, humorous and full of fan-pleasing moments, this newest look at the film is an absolute stunner, teeing up a clash of epic proportions that will be quite unlike anything we’ve seen from the McU to date. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t tell us too much about the plot, but what we do know is that the galactic adventure will have the titular »

Amid the flurry of casting news and plot details emerging from Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con panel, the cast of Taika Waititi’s upcoming Thor: Rangarok took the stage to describe where their characters are at when the film begins. Chris Hemsworth describes a Thor without his hammer or his long blonde locks who’s in the middle of a “midlife crisis,” and Mark Ruffalo says The Hulk has started a new life as a gladiator on the planet Sakaar, where Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie delivers Thor into the hands of Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster. Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is four years into posing as his adoptive father Odin, and Cate Blanchett, who plays Goddess of Death Hela, declined to give any details about her character, telling the crowd that she’s just happy to be along for the ride.

Check Out This Gorgeous New Thor: Ragnarok Poster

8 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

One of the most eagerly anticipated trailers that’s going to come from San Diego Comic-Con has got to be the one for Thor: Ragnarok. Everything we’ve seen so far has knocked our socks off and we see no reason why that trend won’t continue. But, to whet our appetite until later tonight, we’ve got this seriously cool new one sheet – which you can check out down below.

In a Russian Doll configuration, we see Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie and Anthony Hopkins’ Odin. Fitting all these characters onto one poster would generally mean a dull as dishwater array of floating heads (usually wreathed in photoshopped sparks). But, in what might well be a good sign for the film’s quality, whoever designed this has picked an excellent layout, »
