- Samuel Sage Holeman was born in Denver, Colorado to Jeriel McAndrews, an occupational therapist, and Tim Holeman, a lobbyist and songwriter. His mother is of Scottish and French descent and his father is of German descent.
Sam grew up in a very creative environment, with two parents who loved music, arts and film. Sam started acting in high school when his drama teacher, Melody Duggan, encouraged him to audition for the school musical. Sam earned a B.A. double major in Strategic Communications and English at the University of Denver. At DU, he played Jim in Red Cross, Philinte in The Misanthrope and Joe Cooper in Killer Joe. Sam also played Hamlet at the Foothills Theatre Co. the summer of 2019.
Sam is most known for his work on military industrials in Colorado and for staring in the independent films Charlie and Limbo. Sam recently played the younger version of Kit Carson in the INSP network's Wild American's series.
