Olga Kurylenko, Bill Smitrovich Join Pierce Brosnan In Cast Of November Man

Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion), Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Bill Smitrovich (Iron Man) are set to join Pierce Brosnan in the espionage action-thriller November Man directed by Roger Donaldson (The Bank Job). The announcement was made by producers Beau St. Clair of Irish Dreamtime and Sriram Das of Das Films.  Written by Michael Finch (Predators) and Karl Gajdusek (Oblivion), the script was developed from Bill Granger’s There Are No Spies, the seventh book in Granger’s thirteen-part November Man series.

With shooting set to start in Europe on May 20th, November Man tells the story of an ex-cia operative (Brosnan) who finds himself pitted against his former pupil (Bracey) in a race to find a woman hiding from her past (Kurylenko) who holds the key to an international conspiracy. November Man is financed by Merced Media Partners, Envision Entertainment Corporation and PalmStar Media Capital.  Executive Producers include Merced’s Raj Singh and Stuart Brown, »

Pierce Brosnan’s ‘November Man’ Scores ‘Oblivion’s’ Olga Kurylenko

Olga Kurylenko, Luke Bracey and Bill Smitrovich are joining Pierce Brosnan in the action-thriller “November Man,” directed by Roger Donaldson.

The castings were ann0unced at Cannes on Friday — three days before the start of production in Europe — by producers Beau St. Clair of Irish Dreamtime and Sriram Das of Das Films. The Solution is handling international rights and CAA represents the U.S.  rights.

Brosnan’s Irish DreamTime announced the project at Cannes last year as part of a multipicture financing and distribution deal with the Solution Entertainment Group, with “November Man” set as the launch title and framed as a potential franchise-starter.

Script has been written by Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek (“Oblivion”) and developed from Bill Granger’s “There Are No Spies,” the seventh book in Granger’s 13-part “November Man” series.

Matt Craven Joins ABC Pilot ‘The Returned’, Duo Cast In NBC Pilot ‘Undateable’

Matt Craven has been cast in ABC’s drama pilot The Returned. The project, from Brillstein Entertainment, Brad Pitt’s Plan B and ABC Studios, is based on the upcoming novel by Jason Mott. Written by Aaron Zelman and directed by Charles McDougall, it chronicles how the lives of the people in Arcadia are forever changed when their deceased loved ones return. Craven will play Fred, the local Sheriff who has been a widower ever since his wife died in an accident 32 years ago. Craven, repped by Frontline Management’s Craig Dorfman and Sdb Partners, recurs as Secretary of the Navy Clayton Jarvis on NCIS and just wrapped Roland Emmerich’s White House Down. Young comedians Brent Morin and Rick Glassman have been cast in Undateable, NBC’s multicamera comedy pilot from Bill Lawrence and Warner Bros TV.
