Adding to last week's first round of images from "The Maze Runner" are a boatload of new character artwork cards for each of the central castmembers in Wes Ball's adaptation! 20th Century Fox has added new images from The Maze Runner, starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The Wes Ball film which is also adapted for the screen by novel writer James Dashner alongside Noah Oppenheim, opens in theaters on February 14th, 2014, making its bid for Valentine's Day coin. Also with Patricia Clarkson, Will Poulter, Lee Ki Hong and Chris Sheffield, The Maze Runner is set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows young Thomas who, after his memory is erased, is put into a community of boys. They all soon learning they're all trapped in a maze which will require them to band together with other runners for any chance of esaping. »
The first official images have hit the web from the forthcoming action-thriller The Maze Runner, which is based on James Dashner’s same-titled young adult novel. Current Teen Wolf heartthrob Dylan O’Brien (apparently, although I’ve never bothered my arse to watch it) leads as Thomas, one of a group of teenagers who all awake with their memory wiped in an mysterious gladiatorial-like arena with moving walls that hide hideous and hazardous creatures known as Grievers.

Good news, Gladers! Week one of "The Maze Runner" filming is done, and it sounds like everything went very, very well. Director Wes Ball reacted to the week on his Twitter page Friday night, "First week of shooting done! Tough work, but crazy fun. Great cast. Great crew. Gotta admit, the dailies are freaking sweet." As author James Dashner put it, today is Glader Day as production on the film adaptation of his book "The Maze Runner" has now officially kicked off in Baton Rouge, La. ... A last minute casting addition was announced on Saturday by director Wes Ball on Twitter - Chris Sheffield as Ben ("Poor, poor Ben.") - and then Aml Ameen shared this picture of the full load of gladers, minus Kaya Scodelario and the young Blake Cooper, lounging out en masse before the cameras were set to roll.
