xXx: Return Of Xander Cage Review

Watching xXx: Return Of Xander Cage mimics the effect of mainlining a Red Bull/Jolt Cola concoction while you skydive off the Empire State Building with only a handkerchief for a parachute. It’s like Shaun White and Travis Pastrana had conjoining daredevil wet dreams that formed some Exxxtreme tsunami of fantastical X-Games stuntmanship. I imagine someone asking “what about a story?” only to have Vin Diesel grab them by the lapel, hoist them up and say, “how about I skateboard, travel and bed sexy ladies for the first twenty minutes, There’S Your Story!” – they complied, of course. That’s the opening to Xander Cage’s adrenaline-packed franchise return, and radness only increases from there broskis and braskis!

Agent Xander Cage’s return is a somber one, since it begins with the death of Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson). Government suit Jane Marke (Toni Collette) calls Xander out of retirement to avenge Gibbons’ death,

Film Review: ‘On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter’

Film Review: ‘On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter’
Motorcycles of all shapes, sizes and velocities speed around the track — and, quite often, through the air — in “On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter,” director Dana Brown’s effusive valentine to two-wheeled motorized transport in all its incarnations. Taking his father Bruce Brown’s seminal 1971 motorcycle docu “On Any Sunday” as a model, the younger Brown canvases the globe from Vancouver to Vietnam as he explores motorcycling as sport, hobby, practical necessity and even a means of artistic expression. The result is, much like Brown’s superb 2003 surf docu “Step Into Liquid,” an intoxicating blend of exotic travelogue, death-defying derring-do, and affecting profiles in courage and perseverance. Brown’s pic should delight gearheads and grease monkeys of all stripes in its targeted theatrical run (on 250 screens nationwide), with a long home-viewing shelf life to come.

One of the very few sports-themed docus to earn a feature documentary Oscar nomination, the

7 things we learned from Florida Georgia Line's 'This is How We Roll' video with Luke Bryan
Florida Georgia Line debuted the video for “This Is How We Roll,” another in its string of fun, mindless songs from the duo on “Good Morning America” today. The tune, which features a bridge by Luke Bryan, is No. 23 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart after seven weeks. Here are a few things we learned from watching the video. You can watch it here (we will embed it when Gma’s exclusive ends Saturday). *Only women who look like Playboy playmates hang out at truck stops and rub up against 18 wheelers…and they don’t mind traveling inside the truck instead of the cab at all. *There’s nothing that being on wheels can’t fix, from two wheels to ATVs to semis, because this is, after all, how we roll. Couldn’t they fit in a unicycle? *Rising on top of an 18-wheeler as it runs down the road
