(1970's) Aram had a robust stage career while stationed in Fort Huachuca, Arizona with the US Army, including lead roles as Tevye in Fiddler on The Roof; Fagin in Oliver; and Finian in Finian's Rainbow.
His parents, Mihran and Zevart Chorebanian, were refugees who fled from the Armenian Genocide in Turkey in 1915, making their way to the United States, where they settled in New England.
