Pump up the volume. The Loud House TV show has been renewed for a third season of 26 episodes, on Nickelodeon. Inspired by creator Chris Savino’s childhood, the animated series follows 11-year-old Lincoln Loud (Collin Dean). He's the only son, in a family with 10 daughters. The renewal brings the total episode count to 78.While the first season of The Loud House premiered in May, season two has yet to debut. Nickelodeon has set a premiere date for its new animated comedy “The Loud House,” which will debut Monday, May 2, at 5 p.m., Variety has learned exclusively.
The series, which centers around 10 sisters and one brother, is inspired by creator Chris Savino’s life growing up in family of 10 kids.
The 26-episode series follows 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters (Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, and Lily) as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family. With his best bud Clyde, Lincoln always comes up with a plan to stay one step ahead of the chaos, but whether or not it works is where the adventures begin. Viewers can get a first look at full-length episodes from the series during previews on April 1 and April 15 on Nick.com, the Nick App, and Nick On Demand.
