'NCIS' actor David Fisher: Battery charges dropped

17 December 2011 12:08 AM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Back in September, "NCIS" and "Burn Notice" actor David Dayan Fisher was locked up after allegedly choking a neighbor who hung swim towels on Fisher's fence. He was booked on felony battery charges.

Now, the charges have been dropped. Fisher struck a deal with prosecutors. He plead guilty to a much more minor disturbing the peace charge and was sentenced to pay a $50 fine -- but even that was written off by the judge.

"I was set on by a bully who asked for trouble and lost his fight. He then goes running to the teacher and spins his lies. This is the case," Fisher tells TMZ about the violent altercation. "I have not punched someone since I was at school. That was 27 years ago. This seems to be an instant karmic justice for a bully." »

Burn Notice Season 5 Episode 8 Review: Gavin Rossdale Guest-Stirs The Pot

12 August 2011 9:16 PM, PDT | BuzzFocus.com | See recent BuzzFocus.com news »

Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) exchanged cold stares when she made a deal with an old flame in the latest episode of Burn Notice, “Hard Out”. Armand (Gavin Rossdale) will take a look at the bomb from last week’s boat and be able to tell her who made it if she retrieves a truckload of armor piercing ammo from a well-known weapons manufacturer. The bomb signature is just another breadcrumb in Michael’s (Jeffrey Donovan) pursuit of the man who is trying to frame him. For Armand, there’s more to that ammo than what he’s leading on. Meanwhile Michael’s CIA job began as a simple extraction of Steve Cahill (Henri Lubatti) in the Caribbean. Michael joins Agent Pearce (Lauren Stamile) (our first time seeing her in action) for this small operation and they employed Jesse’s security background on his first day off from his 9 to 5 job. Gavin Rossdale A Burn Notice Season 5 Bad

3 June 2011 9:53 AM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

Burn Notice has went and snagged a couple more cast members for its fifth season says Entertainment Weekly. First off Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale is best known as the lead singer for the band Bush and most impressively is the husband of Gwen Stefani. He has done some acting though, appearing in Constantine, Zoolander, Criminal Minds and others. His best role was in Constantine, wear he played a half-demon named Balthazar.

Rossdale plays Armand, a wealthy and powerful villain with a hand in nefarious projects all over the world. Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) goes to him for help — but he’ll only provide assistance if she helps him with a major heist job.

If you’ve seen Rossdale you know he’s as god at acting as he is at singing slash playing the guitar. I’m usually skeptical of musicians crossing over in to film, but he’s got some experience »

NCIS Season Finale Promo: Unfinished Business ...

"Those that created him must now pay." - Ducky

The hunt for the Port-to-Port Killer reaches an epic conclusion next week on NCIS' eight season finale. But what will the cost be for a team that just lost one of its own?

In "Pyramid," the killer continues the assault on Gibbs' and Barrett's teams, who are still reeling from Franks' death. It looks like Ziva specifically is attacked by the killer.

David Dayan Fisher guest stars again as Kort, while Muse Watson also returns as Franks. Hopefully Gibbs' fallen mentor can guide him through one last case.
