Ever since Jeff was a toddler, he liked taking things apart to see how they worked. This curiosity has not changed over the years... just the size of the things he takes apart.
Looking back on the various "projects" Jeff has had over his lifetime, the one constant has been that it normally took place in a garage, shop, or barn and he was with like-minded friends. Some of these projects included: Dismantling and reassembled a brand new Micky Mouse watch that his grandfather gave him at the age of 6; Building a cedar strip canoe as a Boy Scout with other scouts in a barn; Swapping engines and a sick sound system in his first car, a 1970 Datsun 510 his grandmother Biggs gave him; His first Motorcycle a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650; A 1972 Chevy Chevelle, a 1990 Honda CBR600F4i Hurricane, a 1999 Honda Shadow VT750, and his 2000 Yamaha 1600 Road Star.
In December 2018, during the dismantling of his 1999 Honda Shadow ( Project scrapped ), Jeff was reflecting upon all the previous projects he had done. One thing was missing... someone to do the project with. Coaxing a reluctant daughter to help was fine up to a point but it wasn't the same as before. So, his idea went from working on projects with his daughter to checking out projects other people are doing in their garages and sharing it on YouTube.
Taking his outdated knowledge in video production he acquired from working with the County of San Bernardino in Southern California, Jeff Armed himself with his iPhone and iMac running Adobe Premier and began producing a Show he calls, "Biggsie's Garage". It's a work in progress... but it's getting better with every episode.
