In 2000 he wrote, produced, directed and starred in his debut feature
film, the cult indie "Amour Infinity" at the age of twenty-seven. The
film was shot for $25,000.
LaMothe is also a trained and experienced Neurophysiology Technologist, who has worked at some of most prominent teaching hospitals and universities in the country.
Briefly worked in the infirmary at the infamous Spofford Juvenile Detention Center, during the early 90's.
During the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, the 6-part Limited Series Terror Lake Drive- created, co-written, produced and directed by LaMothe was shot in an astounding 19 days.
