Kerry Katona has defended herself against Jenny Frost's claims that she shouldn't be part of the reformed Atomic Kitten lineup. The singer insisted that she deserves a spot within the newly-reformed group as she was one of the founding members when the act began in 1997. "With Atomic Kitten in the pipeline, I saw Jenny Frost saying she's refusing to join the band if I'm in it," Katona wrote in her Ok magazine column. "The thing is, I was the founding member of the band - I remember when I was the only member and for two months I was on my own during auditions when we first chose Liz McLarnon and Heidi Range, then when Heidi left we all chose Natasha Hamilton. According to sources, even Frost is refusing to rejoin if Katona gets a place in the band.
Atomic Kitten had broken up in 2004 after a series of rows but it was revealed in February that they would reform for a documentary.
