Marc Griffith, is a film and television producer, director and editor with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. The son of a network television writer, Marc grew up in the business. As a young boy, the film set and the edit bay were his playground. In 1985, he launched a commercial production company producing award-winning (Telly Awards, Cine Awards) TV spots for Fortune 500 companies.
In the 90's, he co-founded Iron Image Media, refocusing its vision on entertainment projects. The company began producing trailer and print campaigns for the major and independent feature studios. In the early 2000's, Marc began developing, writing, producing, directing and editing award-winning (Regional Emmy) feature documentaries.
By 2010, the company had further expanded its scope to include award-winning (Cine Awards) web series, features and network series. Current projects in development include: The Grapes of Montero, a one-hour episodic set in the California wine country, Rosetta's Stone, an hour-long TV dramedy series, The Seed, a feature length sci-fi adventure thriller and Second Coming, a feature length slightly irreverent, thought-provoking, comedy.
In 2018, embracing his Jewish roots, Marc brought together a team of esteemed filmmakers to produce the true-story feature Bau, Artist at War, scheduled for release in Fall 2024, currently in production in Vancouver B.C.
Marc has a passion to tell stories that will help raise up Hollywood as a positive voice of change for the world. He received his film education at USC and UCLA. He is an avid backpacker, a NAUI certified scuba diver and holds black belts in Tae kwon do and Hapkido. He lives in Ventura County with his wife and professional partner Michelle, and their three children.
