Further, he became an "Eagle Scout" with a "Bronze Palm" for going above and beyond the minimum requirements to be an Eagle Scout--the highest rank in Scouting. He accomplished this by the age of 14.
Further, in the Boy Scouts (BSA) there is an "inner circle" organization called "The Order Of The Arrow." This organization is clouded with mystery and intrigue within Scouting; however, the point of the organization is service and membership is by invitation only. Scouts in their individual troop are asked to nominate one person with whom if they were stranded on a desert island or elsewhere in the wilderness ... they could count on for survival. Paladin refers to this organization as a sort of "Knights Of The Round Table" type organization within Boy Scouting. At 14, Paladin, became the youngest Chapter Chief for his chapter in its history. Continuing on ... the year he was Chapter Chief he lead his chapter to become the "Chapter Of The Year" for his council.
Having been a shy, introverted young man ... Paladin credits his experience in Boy Scouting to have brought him out of his shell; become an extrovert and a leader; and eventually to unleash his charisma and talents in radio, television, film, theatre, and entertainment as a whole.
Paladin graduated from High School with many honors: 20th in class; National Honor Society; involved in many extracurricular activities including French Club, Science Club, honorary member of Chess Club.
Paladin continued onto college after accepting a full-tuition scholarship to Texas Wesleyan University (having decided against accepting an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy) where he earned two degrees (Mass Communication, Marketing); was a part of Mortar Board; wrote and illustrated for the college paper; won Mass Communication Student of the Year (1996); Dean's List; and Honor Roll. Paladin also took many music classes throughout High School and College including: music theory, piano, electric bass, voice, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, electronic music (MIDI); and wrote copious amounts of poetry/lyrics from High School on to the present. In 2011 Paladin decided to focus more of his efforts on writing fiction and short fiction ... concurrent to his efforts in Radio / Broadcasting / Acting / Entertainment. For a short time in 2009 - 2010 Paladin delivered his poetry live at a small club in Fort Worth, Texas; however, he decided to more intensively and intentionally concentrate on creating songs with his lyrics and getting them heard by the masses.- IMDb Mini Biography By: PALADIN
