Entire James Bond Team Wants Daniel Craig Back Says Naomie Harris

24 February 2017 12:50 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Despite the fact that we still have no idea who is actually going to be playing 007 in the next installment of the franchise, it seems like James Bond 25 is moving ahead. We recently reported that the production is in advanced negotiations to shoot in Croatia later this year, which means that the creative team must have a pretty good idea of who is going on a mission for MI6 this time around. According to Daniel Craig's Skyfall and Spectre co-star Naomie Harris, there is a very good chance he will be back for the next James Bond movie.

The 40-year-old actress, who stars in the Oscar-nominated Moonlight and has been playing Moneypenny in James Bond as of late, recently spoke with BBC and the subject of the next installment of the long-standing spy franchise came up. Things have been uncertain since Spectre, with Daniel Craig initially saying that »

24 February 2017 11:45 AM, PST | | See recent news »

It was a good day at Gucci for Charlotte Casiraghi.

The daughter of Princess Caroline and granddaughter of Grace Kelly attended the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week on Thursday — and looked every inch the street style star.

The royal, 30, wore a pair of green suede wide-leg pants, white tee, and gold sequin bomber jacket for the occasion. She also sported a pair of the brand’s signature loafer fringed pumps in gold and sliver, as well as a white Gucci bag.

Inside, she took her place in the front row (naturally), sitting next to fellow fashionista Alexa Chung and Gucci’s CEO, »

James Bond: Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy bookies’ favourites to land role

Simon Brew Feb 23, 2017

If and when Daniel Craig quits as 007, bookmakers are currently backing Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy for the role...

Eon Productions and Daniel Craig remain mum about who will be playing James Bond in the next 007 adventure, which we suspect will be filming before the end of the year. But that hasn’t stopped the bookmakers getting to work, as they tend to do.

Thus, if Daniel Craig does decide to hang up his tuxedo ahead of whatever film James Bond 25 turns out to be, the current favourites – according to odds amalgamation site Oddschecker (we’ve no affiliation, lest you think we’re trying to flog you gambling), sees the favourites as Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy and James Norton, with Aidan Turner not far behind.

Just behind them? The regulars. Tom Hiddleston (and rumours suggest that Eon have cooled on casting him in the role, although »

Thor: Ragnarok - Fans Mad There May Be Humor? Seriously?

22 February 2017 2:00 PM, PST | | See recent LRM Online news »

I just discovered a few interesting tweets on Taika Waititi's (director of upcoming Thor film) twitter (@TaikaWaititi), where some people are b**ching that, god forbid, Thor: Ragnarok may have some humor involved in it. One fan expressed as much Waititi himself.

@TaikaWaititi Taika, how do you feel knowing that there are angry people by Thor Ragnarok adapting a more comic tone?

— Alvaro S. (@alvarof616) February 21, 2017

Surprisingly enough, Waititi saw the tweet, and even went so far as to respond in a hilarious way:

Sounds like they need to laugh.

Thor: Ragnarok director responds to concerns over the film’s comedic tone

The director of upcoming Marvel sequel Thor: Ragnarok, Taika Waititi, has weighed in on any fan concerns regarding the film’s recently revealed comedic tone.

You can never please everyone, and those that try and are destined to fail. It seems director of the latest Thor movie Taika Waititi understands this when responding on Twitter to the concerns of a fan, who brought up their reservations over the supposedly heavy comedic tone of Thor’s third solo outing.

Waititi responded by saying “Sounds like some people need to laugh”, and didn’t seem to be in the mood to offer reassurances of any kind. Take a look at the exchange here…

James Bond 25 to Begin Shooting in Croatia This Year?

22 February 2017 10:38 AM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

It has been well over a year since Spectre hit theaters and in the time since, the James Bond franchise has been on relatively uncertain ground. The only real certainty being that the franchise is going to continue on one way or the other, be it with current 007 Daniel Craig or with a new actor in the iconic role. Despite the seeming uncertainty, James Bond 25 looks like it is on the right track as it has been revealed that the production is looking to film in Croatia, possibly before the end of the year.

The report comes courtesy of the fan site MI6 HQ who are reporting that Eon Productions, the company in charge of the James Bond franchise, is in negotiations to shoot the next installment in Croatia. The news came directly from the mayor of the city of Dubrovnik, who reported at a press conference that was »

Thor: Ragnarok - Why Loki & Thor Have To Team Up Yet Again For This Third Outing

22 February 2017 8:26 AM, PST | | See recent LRM Online news »

What’s a Thor movie without Loki? Sadly, not much. As great as the character of Thor has become in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his love-hate relationship with Loki is one of the most compelling things about what makes him so likable. His struggle with Loki is Shakespearean in scope, and their bickering back and forth is something anyone with a sibling can relate to. Plus, given how Thor: The Dark World left off, we knew the mischievous Asgardian would have some role to play in Thor: Ragnarok, the third film in the trilogy.

This was confirmed relatively recently when Doctor Strange hit Digital HD. In the special features, we saw a piece of concept art that showed Loki and Thor once again teaming up — this time against big bad Hela, played by Cate Blanchett. But what are the circumstances surrounding this teamup? What brings these two together yet again, »

Tom Hiddleston says Loki would “probably dismiss Doctor Strange” and his magic

22 February 2017 7:45 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Tom Hiddleston recently spoke to IGN as part of the Kong: Skull Island promotional campaign, but naturally he was fielded questions regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Specifically, Hiddleston was asked how Loki would react to Doctor Strange and Hela, to which Hiddleston replied:

“I think he probably dismisses Strange. Yes, his sorcery is very impressive, but Loki’s been doing that for centuries so who cares. Hela is a different beast and full of surprises and actually might have been someone with whom at one time he could’ve gotten along, but the circumstances have changed.”

Loki Doesn’t Think Much Of Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme In Thor: Ragnarok, According To Tom Hiddleston

22 February 2017 6:28 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Say what you will about Marvel’s longstanding villain problem – something studio head Kevin Feige has often acknowledged when reflecting on the grand McU – but if there’s one antagonist that stands head and shoulders above the rest, luscious black locks and all, it’s Loki.

Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief is arguably one of the highlights of the Thor standalone movies, and his central role in Joss Whedon’s Avengers back in 2012 (“mewling quim!”) was enough to cement his status as a bona fide fan-favorite. Now, Hiddleston is prepped and ready to reprise as Loki for November’s Thor: Ragnarok, and it seems Asgard’s prodigal son isn’t all that impressed by the advent of one Doctor Strange. Yes, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme has secured his place in Taika Waititi’s galactic threequel, and early reports suggest that he’ll enjoy a fairly significant chunk of screentime. »

‘Apple Tree Yard’ DVD Review

22 February 2017 4:01 AM, PST | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

The BBC seem to be doing well with dramas featuring big stars. Bringing in the likes of Tom Hiddleston these names attract a lot of attention, and very good performances. Apple Tree Yard is the latest, featuring one of the bests British actors in the form of Emily Watson. The question is does it make good use of her skills?

Adapted from Louise Doughty’s novel, Apple Tree Yard is the story of Yvonne Carmichael (Emily Watson). A married woman who has an exciting affair with an alluring stranger, Mark Costley (Ben Chaplin) she is at first excited by the danger of the new relationship. When things go terribly wrong though and she and her lover are accused of murder, just how much can she trust Costley and how well does she know him?
