Wil Glavin was born in Philadelphia, raised in Manhattan, and graduated from Tufts University in 2016, where he majored in English with a concentration in fiction writing and journalism. After college, he spent four years working a variety of roles at Sony Pictures, ICM Partners, and Marvel Entertainment. In August 2020, he released his debut novel, "The Venerable Vincent Beattie", and on September 15th, The New York Post did an exclusive interview on Wil and the book ("The Wild Scandals of NYC's Elite Prep School Scene"). Toward the end of 2020, he appeared on podcasts, guest lectured in college classrooms (over Zoom due to Covid-19), and received inquiries into his novel's film/TV/podcast rights.
Following the success of his debut novel, Wil released "Silhouettes South of 27" in July 2021. The book quickly became one of the must-read novels throughout the Hamptons. It was featured in Hamptons Magazine and Wil hosted book events at The Bayberry in Amagansett and The Breakers Montauk. He ended the summer by partnering with Donna Karan (of DKNY) for a book signing at her Urban Zen/Tutto il Giornio location in Sag Harbor.
Most recently, Wil worked in film/TV development at Universal Studios, where his role was to discover and package new action/thriller material for their slate. He is now producing independent feature films at his newly formed production company, Glavin Entertainment.
