Transformers 5 Motion Posters Introduce New Autobots and Decepticons

22 March 2017 9:33 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Just days after the Transformers: The Last Knight trailer offered a new glimpse at the villainous Megatron, we have yet another look at this villain, along with other robots in disguise courtesy of new motion posters. These living one-sheets feature returning robots in disguise such as Bumblebee, Megatron, Hound, Barricade and Optimus Prime, along with new additions such as Hot Rod, a fan favorite from the original animated series, making his live-action debut in this movie, the "British" robot Cogman, and the tiny Vespa Transformer Sqweeks. We've heard about all of these robots before, but these motion posters give us a better look at what they bring to the table when this movie hits theaters this summer.

Director Michael Bay debuted all of these motion posters on his Twitter account this morning. The filmmaker previously debuted a first look photo with Sqweeks alongside new star Isabela Moner while production was under way. »

Big Little Lies Gets Painful in the Most Beautiful Ways

19 March 2017 7:15 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Anybody else feeling weirdly uncomfortable, but in a good way?  Tonight's Big Little Lies dug deep into lots of deep dark secrets, forcing Madeline (Reese Witherspoon), Celeste (Nicole Kidman), and Jane (Shailene Woodley) to confront or at least contemplate confronting the most painful parts of themselves.  For Madeline, that meant dealing with the affair she had with Joseph (Santiago Cabrera) and and the possibility that maybe Ed (Adam Scott) isn't who or what she really wants. Joseph showed up at the coffee shop and asked to take a drive so they could talk, but that drive led to a minor car accident that put him in the hospital with a collapsed lung, just before Madeline could give her »

For the Kids - Second Trailer for Bay's 'Transformers: The Last Knight'

16 March 2017 6:13 PM, PDT | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"You think I'm afraid of you?!" Paramount has launched a new full-length trailer for Michael Bay's latest Transformers sequel, titled Transformers: The Last Knight. This new trailer is totally focused on the kids in the movie, a cast of youngsters who have to deal with the Decepticons coming back for revenge. Why the focus on the kids? Because this trailer was created exclusively to run in theaters with Beauty and the Beast, of course. The full cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, John Goodman, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Santiago Cabrera, and Liam Garrigan as King Arthur; plus the same voices as before: Peter Cullen, Frank Welker and Ken Watanabe. This is a very odd trailer, I don't think I like it much, but points for doing something different. Here's the new official trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight, direct from »

Common says George Miller’s Justice League Mortal was going to have a “raw edge”

14 February 2017 4:00 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Common is currently participating in interviews for the now released John Wick: Chapter 2 [you can read my review here], and as us to be expected the actor is fielding a number of superhero related questions. Specifically, Yahoo Movies asked about his casting as Green Lantern in Mad Max creator George Miller’s unfortunately canned Justice League Mortal project.

“Yeah, I was cast and we started rehearsals for the film,” said the actor/rapper. “I went to Australia. I tried on the outfit and everything. It was heartbreaking, but it happened. The script was super-dope. It was intricate. And knowing George Miller was going to do it, you knew it was going to have that raw edge. But it had Superman, Aquaman, it had all of the characters really involved. Each one of them had moments and you got to know them. It was a strong piece.”
