We’re very pleased to once again exclusively reveal a new look at a film which may not get the attention it deserves, but it really, really worth your time. Playing well across the festival circuit, with a bold showing in the Tribeca Film Festival, Ben Young’s directorial debut, Hounds of Love, has a new trailer and poster, and we’ve got those for you today.

The wonderful Arrow Films are releasing Hounds of Love in the UK on the 7th of July, and Young’s film will most certainly make an impression on cinema goers. As the poster proclaims this harrowing film is inspired by true events, telling the story of a young girl’s abduction and her quest for survival. Ashleigh Cummings was awarded the Best Actress award out in Venice, she plays Vicki against Emma Booth and Stephen Curry as her captors Evelyn and John White. »

Ben 10: Season Two Renewal for Cartoon Network Series

Cartoon Network has renewed its Ben 10 TV show for a second season. It will also market associated mobile and console games. The series hails from Cartoon Network Studios. Man of Action Entertainment created and executive produces the series, with John Fang serving as executive producer. An animated action-adventure comedy, Ben 10 centers on ten-year-old Ben Tennyson (Tara Strong), his cousin Gwen (Montserrat Hernandez), and their grandfather, Maxwell (David Kaye). The Cartoon Network voice cast also includes Gunnar Sizemore, Robin Atkin Downes, J.B. Blanc, Troy Baker, Roger Craig Smith, Dwight Schultz, Drake Bell, and Jessica Dicicco. Read More… »

I was 12 years old in 1968. One of my favorite places was the library, in those days the closest library to us was the Tesson Ferry Branch in South St. Louis County. My most prized possession was my library card.

My Mother used to drop me off there on a Saturday or a summer weekday and I would spend the whole day reading. One of those days I pulled a book off the shelf called Hitchcock/Truffaut and sat down to read it. I knew who Alfred Hitchcock was from his television show, and from his monthly Mystery Magazine as well as anthologies that I was reading avidly, Tales That Frightened Even Me, More Tales for the Nervous and, my favorite, Stories to be Read After Dark.
