'The Fourth Kind' creator Olatunde Osunsanmi returns to found-footage roots for his newest crime thriller 'Evidence'. And the lovely Radha Mitchell -below ('Silent Hill: Revelation') and I'm sure equally lovely Stephen Moyer ('True Blood') lead the way as a couple of detectives who utilise a selection of video footage taken from victims' camcorders and phones to try and trace a killer. Torrey Devitto ('The Rite'), Harry Lennix ('Dollhouse'), Dale Dickey ('Super 8'), Svetlana Metinka, Caitlin Stasey, John Cothren and Albert Kuo all co-star in the project which was penned by John Swetnam. 'Evidence' is floating around this weeks Afm event in Santa Monica hoping to be picked up by the big boys. »

British actor Stephen Moyer, star of HBO’s cult vampire series True Blood, is to appear opposite Aussie actress Radha Mitchell (Pitch Black) in suspense thriller Evidence. Directed by The Fourth Kind’s Olatunde Osunsanmi, Moyer and Mitchell will play detectives hunting a mass murderer using only the victims electronic equipment. Footage from Cell phones, cameras and camcorders are the only pieces of the puzzle the two have to go on in order to catch the maniac responsible.
It is a new way of integrating the ‘found-footage’ formula by having a set of characters almost becoming editors themselves. Its a nice change actually, rather than the familiar explanation at the beginning of the movie and then letting the footage play out for the audience, which being honest most if not all of these efforts tend to follow.

Radha Mitchell and Stephen Moyer have joined the cast of Evidence for Bold Films and director Olatunde Osunsanmi (The Fourth Kind).
The story centers on two detectives (Radha Mitchell and Stephen Moyer) who find no evidence at a murder crime scene, except for the victims' cell phones and a video camera. They must analyze footage from these electronic devices to determine who the killer is. We reported in August that Dale Dickey, Caitlin Stasey, Torrey DeVitto, Nolan Gerard Funk, Albert Kuo, and Harry Lennix joined the cast.
Olatunde Osunsanmi is directing from a screenplay by John Swetnam. Production is already under way on Evidence, which is being shopped to buyers at the American Film Market this week.
Evidence comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Radha Mitchell, Stephen Moyer, Dale Dickey, Caitlin Stasey, Torrey DeVitto, Nolan Gerard Funk, Albert Kuo, Harry Lennix. The film is directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi. »

Evidence director Olatunde Osunsanmi has rounded out the cast for his indie thriller with Dale Dickey, Caitlin Stasey, Torrey DeVitto, Nolan Gerard Funk, Albert Kuo, and Harry Lennix.
Evidence will be based on a massacre outside Los Angeles. Detectives assigned to the case have to sift through evidence at the crime scene including the victims camcorder, flip cam, and two cell phones, who then have to analyze the minimal footage to piece together the identity of their killer.
"When I read Evidence I was very jealous I hadn't written it myself and I feel fortunate to be able to bring this incredibly unique story to life," Osunsanmi said.
No production date has been set.
Evidence comes to theaters in 2011 and stars Ryan McCoy, Brett Rosenberg, Abigail Richie, Ashley Bracken, Risdon Roberts, Keith Lewis, Blaine Gray, Andrew Varenhorst. The film is directed by Howie Askins. »

The movie currently in pre-production has cast Canadian actor Nolan Gerald Funk as it's leading man.
