Ira Trattner is an American film producer based in London. Since relocating from Los Angeles he produced the critically acclaimed British film Two Men Went to War which starred Kenneth Cranham and Derek Jacobi directed by John Henderson which was a finalist at the Hollywood Film Festival; developed Trinity as Executive Producer with Jim Sheridan as a miniseries for HBO and the BBC based on the best-selling novel of Ireland by Leon Uris; and is developing several film and television projects set in the UK, Europe and the States.
Mr. Trattner began his career in the film industry as a motion picture lawyer for Warner Bros. at the film studio in Burbank, California before embarking on a career as an independent film producer.
He has developed film projects as a producer with Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Disney, MGM, United Artists, 20th Century Fox, the Irish Film Board and other companies with such noted directors as Jim Sheridan, Wes Craven, Roland Joffe, Carl Reiner, etc.
