“You get an email with a link to click to find out the gender. We actually sent that to Amy’s sister in Texas and she ordered the shoes and mailed them to us. We opened the box on the front doorstep,” said Earnhardt, who publicly spoke about becoming a father for the first time on Tuesday during an interview with NBC Sports Network. »

The Nascar icon took to Instagram on Monday to announce that he and his wife, Amy Reimann, are going to be welcoming their first baby!

The 43-year-old stock car racer shared an adorable photo of a pair of tiny pink Converse sneakers to reveal that the couple are expecting a daughter.

The couple shared the happy news on Instagram Monday afternoon, alongside a pair of pink baby Converse.

“Excited to share the wonderful news that Amy and I are expecting our first child. A little girl!!!! We are both thrilled and can’t wait to meet her,” the Nascar driver, 42, captioned the photo.

The Earnhardts were married last New Year’s Eve at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina — a venue owned by fellow racer Richard Childress.

Russell Wilson will return to host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards this summer, Variety has learned. The annual award show will air on Sunday, July 16.

Along with announcing the Seattle Seahawks quarterback as host, the network unveiled the full list of nominees.

“Super excited and honored to three-peat and host Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports 2017,” said Wilson. “Kids, get ready … three times the slime coming your way.”

The Kids’ Choice Sports Awards is the only kids’ show that celebrates the world’s best athletes and epic sports moments.
