"Politically Incorrect" (1994) host Bill Maher paid tribute to her for an entire week on the show by leaving one of the four guest chairs on the set unoccupied.
Died while on board American Airlines Flight 77, one of the four hijacked planes that crashed into the Pentagon, the World Trade Center, and a Pennsylvanian field on September 11, 2001. She was aboard the Pentagon flight. She was flying to Los Angeles to tape a guest appearance on "Politically Incorrect" (1994).
Lawyer, author, and television commentator.
In 1995-96, she was the Chief Council for the Congressional committee investigating various Clinton White House scandals, including charges of misuse of FBI background records.
Authored two best-selling books. The first, "Hell To Pay" (1999), was a critical biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton. The second, "The Final Days" (2001), examined the conduct of the Clinton administration after the 2000 election, including the alleged selling of Presidential pardons. She died before the book was distributed.
Was close friends with columnist Ann Coulter.
Her sister, Toni Lawrence, is currently a member of the Houston, Texas City Council. [June, 2006].
