Ines Rose
- Writer
- Talent Agent
Ines Rose is a quadruple threat in the industry. She was born Mwayuma Ines Rose in Brussels, Belgium. Rose attended both the British International School and the American International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before moving to Philadelphia, USA to earn her business degree from Arcadia University, and later from Hult International Business School in London, England. Following this Rose decided to pursue a career in film through the National Youth Film Academy.
Rose began seriously writing and acting in her teen years, leading her to perform in musicals and plays, before starring on-screen in her adult years. Her professional career took off in French-American indie shows (Exposed, A Girl Is A Gun, Playground, Tycoon, Superhigh, Virgin, and Junior) from what was a media productions company by Vice called Black Pills. Rose then also found her way into writing for several pop-culture TV series. Although still an unsigned actress, she has been cast in her most notables roles in Amazon Prime Videos' Selah and the Spades (2019) and Soulmates (2021).
When it comes to the arts, they were always a way for Rose to express her creative side; she has made a name for herself as a published poet, talented vocalist, and visual artist outside of the dramatic arts. Rose started playing the piano at age 9, and the violin at 11 years old. Since then she has added the harmonica, the banjo, and the ukulele to her repertoire (in chronological order). In addition to this, Ines Rose is a peripatetic polyglot. She has lived all around Europe, the Middle East, and North America resulting in her varying fluency in 11 languages. As useful as these skills are in the film industry, they also tie back to and bolster her business education.
