Philip Hersh is originally from Montreal, Canada. He moved to Los Angeles in 2002. Prior to arriving in LA, Philip worked considerably in South Florida honing his craft. His film credits include an ex-Israeli Commando in the action drama, 'Freedom's Gate' (2004) (lead), the evil Captain Kirk in the award winning science fiction comedy, 'Nerdwars' (2002) (lead), and a morally challenged businessman in the drama, 'Special Service' (2004) (lead).
Notable television credits include: his portrayal of Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Governator) in the comedic parody entitled 'Ahnald's in Charge' (2003), and a hotel clerk (supporting) in a thrilling episode of _Mostly True Stories (2002)_ for the TLC Network.
In addition to acting, Philip has an extremely versatile voice and has recorded many voice-overs and lent his voice to many commercials. He voices over 50 characters/impressions. Most recently, he was the on-air announcer for the televised 'Miss Florida USA Teen Pageant' (2004). He can also be heard as the voice of "Tornado" in Discovery Communications', _I Survived (2002)_.
