Before Leven Rambin was “one of the girls from ‘The Hunger Games’”, she was “that girl Fox tried to push on ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’”. You know, the girlfriend that you didn’t know John Connor had when he was a wee lad? Yeah, her. Anyways, Rambin has since survived her “Sarah Connor Chronicles” forced casting, and has now signed up to join the cast of “Percy Jackson: The Sea of Monsters”, the sequel to 2010′s “Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief”. Rambin will play Clarisse, daughter of Ares aka the God of War, and her character is described as being “skilled at battle and a perfectionist.” Hey, if you’re the daughter of the God of War, you better be skilled at battle, am I right? Don’t know about the perfectionist part, though. Logan Lerman will reprise the role of Percy Jackson, the franchise’s young lead, »

As expected, one of the lowest of the lowbrow comedies of 2011, Jack And Jill, dominated the proceedings at Sunday night’s Golden Raspberry awards ceremony. Although, very few predicted it would be picking up all of the awards. The razzies have coincided with the Academy awards for just over thirty years, honouring those films that fill you with dread and suicidal thoughts because of how mind-numbingly awful they are.
Adam Sandler – who co-wrote the screenplay, and portrayed both the titular characters – should be heartbroken. It is not as if 2011 happened to be a fantastic year for film, and that Jack And Jill was just the worst of a great bunch; it was the worst film from a series of terrible films, including the likes of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Check out the comprehensive list of categories, nominees and winners (in bold) below… »

The Razzies has been giving out awards for the worst Hollywood has to offer since 1980. During last night's ceremonies in Santa Monica, Adam Sandler and his "Jack and Jill" movie won in all ten categories. Sandler took home the prize for Worst Actor and Worst Actress for his portrayal of both Jack and Jill. Worst Supporting Actor was Al Pacino and Worst Supporting Actress was David Spade. And the Worst Picture honor obviously went to "Jack and Jill" as well. There were plenty of terrible movies in 2011, which is why I find it odd that "Jack and Jill" won in every category. Sounds like the Razzie people are attempting comedy themselves. Check out the full list of winners (in red) and nominees below. Worst Picture: * Jack and Jill * Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star * New Year's Eve * Transformers: Dark of the Moon * Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Worst »

The Adam Sandler comedy Jack and Jill enjoyed a clean sweep at last night's 32nd annual Golden Raspberry Awards - better known as the Razzies - picking up a record-breaking ten gongs and winning in every single category as Hollywood 'celebrated' the very worst in cinematic achievement from 2011. Only one other film managed to make an impact by sharing two awards with Jack and Jill, but unfortunately for Sandler, it was another Happy Madison production - Just Go with It.
Among Sandler's honours were both Worst Actor and Worst Actress awards (with his Worst Actor award split between Jack and Jill and Just Go with It), Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Screen Couple (shared with Katie Holmes, Al Pacino and himself) and Worst Screenplay, while Dennis Dugan was named Worst Director for Jack and Jill and Just Go with It and the former also took home the not-at-all-coveted Worst Picture. Not that it will stop Adam Sandler from continuing to make increasingly shitacular movies, but it is kind of nice to finally see his cinematic abominations get recognized for the truly awful pieces of filmmaking they are.
Yesterday, appropriately on April Fool's Day, the Razzies handed out their statues for the best of the worst, and "Jack And Jill" swept the ceremony winning an award in every category. It was the first time in the history of Razzies that the feat was accomplished. So, congratulations Sandler, Dennis Dugan (who also won for "directing" "Just Go With It"), Al Pacino, Katie Holmes and everyone else -- you are now a part of a movie that will forever go down as one of the worst in movie history....until "Grown Ups 2."
Anyway, take a look below at the categories and see the hall of shame in all its glory. [24 Frames]

A round of applause is deserved for Adam Sandler and Dennis Dugan. After breaking the Razzie nomination record, they have now set another milestone with their Jack & Jill winning every single category, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished its 32-year history. The ceremonies occurred last night and one can see the winners below, in which Sandler received both worst actor and actress, an accomplishment I don’t see repeating any time soon. Well, until the inevitable Jack & Jill 2.

Following swiftly on the heels of Nathan Fillion's casting as the swift-heeled Hermes, Anthony Stewart Head has been cast as Chrion in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters. Yes, the man who played Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and King Uther Pendragon in Merlin is returning to the fantasy genre once again. This makes two Whedonverse actors cast in the movie so far, both in roles recast from the first movie. Nathan Fillion is replacing Dylan Neal, and Anthony Stewart Head is replacing Pierce Brosnan, arguably proving once and for all that Rupert Giles beats James Bond. (By the way, if Judi Dench ever retires from the role: Anthony Stewart Head for M. Just saying.)
Of course, there could be any number of reasons for Percy Jackson 2’s recasting, including scheduling, budget, and cast chemistry. Or maybe the filmmakers are just toying with us. Awesomely. »

THR reports that Anthony Head (Merlin, Dancing on the Edge) who portrayed Rupert Giles on Whedon’s TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 1997-2003 has joined the cast of director Thor Freudenthal‘s forthcoming follow-up to the Chris Columbus directed 2010 adaptation of author Rick Riordan’s novel Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
Head will be portraying Chiron, the character portrayed by Pierce Brosnan in the first film who is in charge of Camp Half-Blood and trains the demigods.
