The Restaurant's Raymond Blanc has said he has no desire to wade into celebrity chef feuds. The French restaurateur claimed that he is uncomfortable with the confrontational approach taken by fellow TV chef Gordon Ramsay, who has previously attacked Delia Smith for cooking with pre-packaged food. Speaking to Digital Spy about rowing TV chefs, Blanc said: "I don't want to go there, I truly don't want to go there. Chef Marco Pierre White has called for Delia Smith to be made a Dame. The Hell's Kitchen star said criticism of Smith's recent How To Cheat At Cooking series was out of order. "Delia did more for cooking in this country than anybody else," he told The Sun. "She's had a kicking but she’s not telling you to do it. She's telling you how to do it if you want to. It might inspire people to cook. She should be Dame Delia Smith, in my opinion." White blasted Joanna Lumley's suggestion that all chickens should be free range, describing it as unsustainable. Gordon Ramsay to Kiefer Sutherland

If you had to compose a list of celebrities you'd least like to get on the wrong side of, then Gordon Ramsay and Kiefer Sutherland could well feature prominently. A man who won't hesitate to tear into his own chefs, take shots at Delia Smith and ask Geri Halliwell how many meatballs she can stuff into her mouth is surely not to be messed with. Equally intimidating is Kiefer Sutherland. The 24 star has proved physically indestructible as CIA agent Jack Bauer and he's not exactly shy and retiring in real life either, having recently made it into the top five of a recent Hollywood hellraisers poll. Gordon Ramsay to... Jade Goody - Despite his tough, uncompromising personality, Gordon has shown his caring side in the past. A serial marathon runner, the chef has completed the London Marathon four times. Not so impressive an athlete is Jade Goody. (more) »
