Born on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, Rachel Boston is a country girl at heart but a New Yorker in spirit. Growing up in Tennessee, she performed in her school, church and community theaters. At 17 she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. Rachel studied Shakespeare while at Fordham University and The Actor's Center. After performing in theater in New York and Pennsylvania for two years, she took the advice of one of her directors, moved out of her Hell's Kitchen apartment and drove 3,000 miles west for the pilot season. After two months in Los Angeles, she landed a role in "American Dreams" (2002) on NBC.

Where Are They Now

(March 2007) Landed the lead on ABC's untitled Ric Swartzlander comedy pilot. The show is set in a chaotic Phoenix TV newsroom; Boston will play a rising star at the station who was recently promoted to executive producer of all news programs.

(May 2007) Guest starring in the sixth season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO.

(July 2007) Shooting the independent film "Ten Years Later" with Jake Hoffman in Arroyo Grande, California.
