Hulu continues to expand its programming, launching the new parody The Hotwives of Orlando plus bringing back the teen drama East Los High and Seth Meyers' animated superhero comedy The Awesomes for additional seasons. Also returning: The Western farce Quick Draw, starring John Lehr (10 Items or Less) as a Harvard grad practicing criminology and forensics in the Wild West town of Great Bend, Kan. Hulu Renews ‘Quick Draw’ For Season 2

Hulu has ordered a 10-episode second season of comedic half-hour western Quick Draw. The series from John Lehr and Nancy Hower joins Deadbeat and The Awesomes for Hulu’s 2014 originals slate. Co-creator and star Lehr returns as Harvard-educated Sheriff John Henry Hoyle, who uses his forensics expertise to solve crimes in a small Kansas town while trying to fit in with skeptical townspeople. Nick Brown, Allison Dunbar, Alexia Dox and Robert Clendenin also will be back for Season 2. Hower and Lehr exec produce along with Keith Raskin (Key & Peele, The League).The show is slated to premiere on Hulu and Hulu Plus in 2014.

John Lehr is ‘Jailbait’ for Crackle

This April Fool's Sony's Crackle is debuting Jailbait, an improvised comedy web series starring John Lehr (Cavemen, Ten Items or Less). In this fish-out-of-water story, Lehr plays Ozzie, a naive perpetual optimist who is serving nine months in prison after accidentally buying drugs in a sting operation. Jailbait also stars Bob Clendenin (Cougar Town), Tim Bagley ($#*! My Day Says), Kirk Ward, Evie Peck, Sandra Vergara and Michael Bailey Smith, and was created, written, and executive produced by John Lehr and Nancy Hower (the team behind TBS’ Ten Items or Less) and co-executive produced by Keith Raskin. Produced by Conference unveils speakers
James L. Brooks, Mark Gordon, Gary Goetzman, Shawn Ryan, Don Mischer and Fox Sports CEO David Hill are among the producers who will join CNN founder Ted Turner as featured speakers at the second Produced by Conference presented by the Producers Guild of America.

The June 4-6 event at 20th Century Fox Studios will offer more than 30 sessions designed to provide career tools, insights and networking opportunities for television, video and new-media producers.

Conference co-chairs Gale Anne Hurd and Rachel Klein said they drew on TV producers working on everything from scripted programming to reality shows to fashion the lineup. They note the event comes during an "innovative and exciting time for the television industry."

Sessions will include "Better, Faster, Cheaper: The Secrets of Producing Television in 2010," "The Golden Age of Scripted Television," "The Magic of Live Entertainment" and "Get It on Air: Advice on Selling Reality TV Shows." There
