A huge variety of new trailers dropped this week, and they all look crazy good. There’s everything from new Dwayne Johnson to John Krasinski’s directorial debut to a Hugh Jackman musical. Read on to get the best of this week’s trailers!
We firstly want to mention the first trailer for Rampage, based on the ‘80s arcade game of the same name and starring Dwayne Johnson. The Rock plays a scientist-type who finds himself battling horrifically mutated giant animals, including the albino gorilla he rescued from the wild. This is 100% as wild as it sounds, and we honestly think the trailer speaks for itself. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Naomie Harris also star. Catch Rampage in Cineplex theatres April 20th.
If horror is your thing,
The teaser doesn’t give too much away regarding the plot, but what’s clear is that a family living out in the country are forced to live in total silence in order to hide from an unknown evil that thrives on sound. File this one under “intriguing”. With such a unique concept it’ll be interesting to see how they tackle a horror film with restricted sound. Not much screaming in this one, I’m guessing.
A Quiet Place stars Emily Blunt and John Krasinski and will sneak into cinemas April 2018.
Check out the teaser above and let us know your thoughts below.
The first footage, released on Thursday, shows a family of four living in the woods in a rundown house and using sign language. The tagline reads, “Listen closely, move carefully, and never make a sound. If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you.”
The trailer features a creepy wooden crucifix on a bridge, the family attempting to play Monopoly, and a fire starting when a lantern is knocked over.
Krasinski is directing from a script he wrote, revising the screenplay from Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, which the studio acquired prior to Krasinski and Blunt’s involvement.
Krasinski previously helmed “The Hollars” and “Brief Interviews With Hideous Men” in 2009. Michael Bay will produce along with his partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes. Krasinski and his Sunday Night Productions partner [link=nm
The trailer for A Quiet Place -- which Krasinski directed -- debuted on Thursday, and is already intriguing fans due to its premise. While the plot has been kept under wraps, the trailer reveals that a family of four lives in a remote farm and keeps as silent as they can throughout their daily lives, by choice. But when Blunt and Krasinski's young son accidentally knocks over a lamp and makes a sound, it's clear something evil is haunting them.
“Listen closely, move carefully and never make a sound," the tagline reads. "If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you. .. Silence is survival."
The supernatural thriller, which is set to hit theaters on April 6, 2018, marks the first film married A-listers Blunt and Krasinski have starred in together.

We don’t know too much about the film, but the tagline reads – “If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you.” The plot is said to revolve around an unseen force that terrorises the inhabitants of an isolated house, one in which the unseen monsters can only find you if you make a noise.
We’re probably in for something very scary, something confirmed by this brilliant first teaser.
