Who Paid For Being 'Too Cool For School' On 'Next Top Model'?

12 April 2012 4:22 AM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

There's something very sexy about a woman who's confident, sure of who she is and willing to stand her ground. Former Pussycat Doll and Jessica Sutta and Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud joined the judging panel this week on "America's Next Top Model" (Wed., 9 p.m. Et on The CW), overseeing as the girls were put to the task of appearing in a girl group inspired music video.

For choreography, Tyra Banks brought some equipment in to teach the girls how to booty tooch. She compared it to a training bra, only for the tooch. But while all the girls went and put theirs on, AzMarie didn't. When pushed on the issue, she said she quite simply refused to put it on, and so she was banished from the training session.

On the Us team, Kyle was a bit self-conscious, which hurt their performance, but so did AzMarie's defiance at the training session. »

America's Next Top Model 18.06 "Jessica Sutta and Nadine Coyle" Review

Hoochie toochie smoochie bootchie toochie toochie coochie coochie.

Don't worry, everybody, I'm not having a fit or psychotic break from too much Top Model. (That's like saying "too much air", c'mon. No such thing.) I'm just practicing what tooches to do and what tooches not to do, as the Good Lord (and Mama Tyra) intended. You wouldn't want your salad tooch to get mixed up with your dessert tooch and heaven knows, if I mixed up my dinner tooch with my fish tooch, I might not be to show up at the next TV Blogger Luncheon, Fashion Show, and Tooch Off. And we wouldn't want that now, would we?

Y'all, tonight's Top Model was all types of stupid and train wreck-y, but I have to admit...I kind of loved it. I don't know if it's residual good feelings from an improved cycle or what, »

'America's Next Top Model: British Invasion' Recap: They Sang, They Danced, They Tooched

10 April 2012 5:47 PM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Six episodes into Cycle 18 of America's Next Top Model, and a newbie is here recapping it. Yeah, you heard me. Yes, I know, this is serious stuff and I fully understand you can not miss any essential details from this week's episode. We'll get there. First, I'm ecstatic that my first venture here is going to be a recap of the episode where girls who are barely models now also get to be music stars. Every musical bone in my body twitches in agony as five American and four British wannabe models get transformed into the Pussycat Dolls/Spice Girls/insert-other-girl-group here, complete with a professionally-shot music video, choreography and a single release. At least - thank goodness -- (Or thank Auto Tune that blew up during last season's musical escapade) - this time the girls are trying to rap, not sing. »

America's Next Top Model 18.05 "Beverly Johnson" Review

America's Next Top Model 18.05 "Beverly Johnson" Review

One of the main complaints that people (including yours truly) have had about Top Model is that it can feel a little insular. Instead of exposing the girls in each cycle to the realities of the fashion business through actual casting/jobs, realistic photoshoots, and lessons in handling your coins, it can focus too much on being capital-r Reality TV. There are many (legitimate) reasons that no true top model has emerged from the Top Model dungeon, but one of the primary examples of this lies with how little the girls know about what they're getting themselves into upon leaving the show. To be able to beat the fashion machine that has spit many a girl out like juice from a mouthful of chewing tobacco, you have to understand the machine and dressing like Michael Jackson or freely eating a hot dog aren't ways to do it. »
