As you can see, the photos we've been provided take their cue from Army of Darkness (that's Aria Giovanni on her knees), Night of the Living Dead (with Zoli Suicide) and Friday the 13th . Other models included in the calendar include Jana Jordan, Justine Joli Bobbi Starr, Kayla Jane Danger, Karlie Montana and Mosh. And there are sexy riffs on Poltergeist , Carrie , Psycho and Frankenstein . The calendar is by the same team who brought you Nerdcore 2009: Sci-Fi and Nerdcore 2008: Heroes/Villains. As a red blooded male who loves seeing red blood spilled, there's nothing quite so awesome as a bunch of hot naked girls posing in classic horror situations. So imagine my delight when checking my email I'm notified that Nerdcore, the popular merging of Nerd culture and Hot chicks, has got their 2010 poster ready to be ordered and the them is horror! Now, you have may have clicked into this article today thinking "Hey, what movie are you recommending?" But today I'm recommending this calendar instead of a movie. We've got 28 more movies coming your way soon. 31 Days of Horror is about everything horror, not just movies. Last year we talked about comics and this year I'm talking about nudie girls. I don't normally push people's merchandise for them, but Nerdcore releases the best calendars, and this year they went with a horror theme. Nerdcore's 4th Annual calendar features pinups of all varieties: cover model Jana Jordan (pictured) getting paranormal with a TV set, sultry scream queen Justine Joli (pictured) in the most vintage of psychotic shower scenes, Bobbi Starr (pictured) sewn together (literally) in a more naked version of Frankenstein, as well as Aria Giovanni, Kayla Jane Danger, Karlie Montana, Mosh (pictured), and Zoli Suicide getting their scream on. The calendar features regular and nerdy holidays, including over one hundred important holidays for geeks, including: Major movie releases; conventions like San Diego Comic-Con, Alternative Press Expo, etc. ; anniversaries for major franchises and cult classics; birthdays for of genre favorite creators, actors, writers, and directors; and key fictional happenings, from obscure to awesome. »

The Nerdcore calendar has been a hot item for the past few years, tackling sci-fi, comics, and games. For 2010, the folks behind the calendar have decided to dip their pens in a little red ink, and bring Horror to masses.
As they put it themselves, "No genre has been more synonomous with nerds and nudity than the horror, which is why Nerdcore got a little bit bloody for 2010."

Spike TV Nails ‘James Gunn’s PG Porn’ For A Full Season

Spike TV has ordered 11 episodes of James Gunn's PG Porn, whose pilot episode 'Nailing Your Wife' has garnered over 1.7 million views since its debut on October 8 (200,000 of which were in the first 24 hours). The pilot starred Dr. Horrible's Nathan Fillion and adult entertainment actress Aria Giovanni, and generated over 1 million views within five days. The 12 episode season will feature a new episode each month, beginning with January's 'Roadside Ass-sistance' (above), featuring adult entertainment star Sasha Grey. The project is produced by The Good Boys—Scooby-Doo auteur James Gunn and brothers Brian and Sean (Gilmore Girls), in conjunction with Safran Digital Group, and is aimed at people who enjoy everything about porn, except the sex. »

In the first episode of James Gunn’s PG Porn - a web series “for people who love everything about porn…except the sex” - Nathan Fillion nails Aria Giovanni. Literally. In a contrived, makeshift set with an aesthetic and soundtrack reminiscent of the era of XXX where a thin Ron Jeremy hung his rising star, Fillion accidentally takes Giovanni out of commission with nail gun just as she was going down. “Violent misogyny self-righteously disguised as humor” or not, the premiere episode of the series produced by Safran Digital didn’t turn me on because it was too much like the real thing. Porn does a great job of making fun of porn. When wooden acting and low-budget camp are already staples in an industry, you need more than wooden acting and low-budget camp to get a decent laugh. And that’s why the second and third installments are so good. »

James Gunn scored in a big way when he debuted the first episode of PG Porn last October. Taking the bad-story set-ups of pornography and then providing a dark comedic twist before the nasty happens is a great formula for laughs and the first episode, "Nailing Your Wife" starring Nathan Fillion and Aria Giovanni was highly enjoyable. Sadly, we've had to wait and wait and wait for Mr. Gunn to provide us with more hilarity. Tomorrow, that wait will be over as Spike.com will be premiering the second episode of PG Porn, "Roadside Ass-sistance". Starring Mr. Gunn himself and porn star Sasha Grey, "Roadside Ass-Istance" will be the first of an eleven-episode pick-up.
