NBC has released a bunch of trailers and clips for a new collection of TV series that they have been developing. We've got stuff from 1600 Penn, Infamous, Save Me, Next Caller, Do No Harm, The New Normal, Guys With Kids, and Go On. It will be interesting to what shows make it and what shows end up on the chopping block. Check out the trailers and clips and let us know which ones look good to you!
1600 Penn:
“1600 Penn” — The Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues – like a grown kid who’s forced to move back home, children who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Jenna Elfman, “Dharma and Greg”) desperately trying to win over the kids. They’re loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everybody else. With one exception: they live in a very special house. »

In advance of their official Upfronts presentation on Monday, NBC jumped the gun to be the first network to unveil their complete 2012-2013 schedule on Sunday.
The biggest story? "Community" is moving to Fridays, along with sophomore sitcom "Whitney," which will kick off that rather random new night of programming.
"Smash" is also being bumped -- all the way to midseason -- to make way for the premiere of "Revolution," a new thriller from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, which will air after "The Voice" on Mondays. And yes, that means "The Voice" will be back in the fall, giving it two cycles a year, as predicted.
NBC will also try their hand at airing comedies on Tuesday nights, with Matthew Perry's "Go On" and Ryan Murphy's "Th New Normal" getting paired together.
Also being saved for midseason are new sitcoms "Save Me," "1600 Penn" and "Next Caller," and new dramas "Do No Harm, »

Feast your eyes on Matthew Perry's return to NBC: The network has released the first pictures from "Go On," a new comedy featuring the former "Friends" star the network has picked up for next season.
We've also got pics from "Save Me," another new comedy for 2012-13 that stars Anne Heche as a woman who believes she's channeling God and creating miracles.
"Go On" is Perry's second post-"Friends" series for NBC; he also starred in "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" in 2006-07. In the new show, he plays a sportscaster -- from the looks of the photo, he's a radio host -- who reluctantly attends group therapy sessions after suffering a loss. He then finds himself getting surprising comfort from the other members of the group. Here's the cast picture, in which Perry is surrounded by (from left) Allison Miller ("Terra Nova"), Khary Payton ("Ben 10"), Suzy Nakamura »

I haven't seen his name mentioned in any of the press announcements today as being part of the cast, but (as you can see from the promo pic above) Lamman Rucker is indeed in the core cast of the new NBC series pickup Save Me, which stars Anne as "a woman in a broken marriage who transforms into a version of herself and creates miracles along the way," says THR. The new series is said to have tested off the charts with audiences, encouraging NBC to fast-track it for an August debut, ordering a 13-episode first season. Rucker will play a Dr. John Wilkins (according to IMBDPro), costarring alongside Heche (the star of the show), Alexandra Breckenridge and Michael Landes. Not much else available right now on who exactly Dr. John Wilkins is in relation to the other characters. Stay tuned... Rucker will next be seen in Russ Parr's The Under Shepherd, »

First, let’s recap what we have learned so far about Season 2 of American Horror Story. It will take place on the east coast instead of the west, with some actors from Season 1 returning to the show but as new and entirely opposite characters from what they played before.
Confirmed to return are of course the amazing Jessica Lange (Season 1′s Constance), Zachary Quinto (previous homeowner Chad), Evan Peters (mass murderer Tate), Sarah Paulson (psychic Billie Dean), and Lily Rabe (original owner Nora).
Now for the latest tidbits, fresh from a TV Academy panel earlier this week. According to THR, co-creator and co-showrunner Ryan Murphy once again confirmed that the second season would take place on the east coast, but further confirmed that it would take place “at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica.”

The clouds swirling around the second season of FX’s American Horror Story are starting to clear up, allowing fans to look into the crystal ball. Before Season 1 ended, co-creator Ryan Murphy hinted that the new season would bring back Jessica Lange to star. Lange would go on to win a Golden Globe for her performance as the politically incorrect nosy neighbor Constance. Murphy also dropped seeds that the setting would relocate to the East Coast, a place hinted at in the Season 1′s penultimate episode, “Birth.” Murphy spoke Wednesday at a panel in North Hollywood at the TV Academy, promoting Ahs and revealed more concrete details.
The Second Season “is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica,” Murphy said. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the table conversation in “Birth” shared by Constance, her medium friend, Billie Dean and Violet »

Fans are anxiously awaiting new details on American Horror Story Season 2 because we know so little at this point. Because the second season will feature a new location, theme, and characters, it is almost like a brand new series each season. Thankfully, Ryan Murphy was happy to share some new details during a recent appearance.
He confirmed to THR that previous news that the show would take place at an institution, but revealed that it will be run by Jessica Lange’s new character: “[Season 2] is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica…”
An interesting new piece of news is that the second season will take place in a different time period: “It’s a completely different world and has nothing to do with Season 1; there’s not a mention of Season 1… The second season is set in a completely different time period. »

"American Horror Story" Season 2 is still quite a ways away, but creator Ryan Murphy continues to tantalize fans with details about what is coming. We already knew the show was going to be set on the East Coast, at a horror institution of some kind.
Now Murphy tells a panel at the TV Academy in North Hollywood (via the Hollywood Reporter) that Season 2 is "set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica [Lange]."
Oooh. Who is immediately picturing Nurse Ratched? Only crazier, if that's possible.
Murphy also says, "It's a completely different world and has nothing to do with Season 1; there's not a mention of Season 1. The second season is set in a completely different time period."
Oooh. That's fun too. Do you have a preference on the era?
Finally, Murphy says that in addition to the Season 1 actors we know are returning (Jessica Lange, »

Last night, The Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences reunited the season one cast of American Horror Story to talk about the show's success and drop some hints about the super-secret season two.
The biggest news came when creator Ryan Murphy revealed where the second season would take place: "[Season 2] is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica [Lange]," Murphy said, elated yours truly since that's what I've been hoping for since it was revealed in December that he'd embedded a hint to the location in season one episode, Birth.

New place, new time, new characters. That's what fans already know about the second season of "American Horror Story," but now creator Ryan Murphy is dishing even more details.
Speaking at a TV Academy panel Wednesday (April 19), Murphy confirmed that the second season in the series will, in fact, take place at a mental institution on the East Coast, as had been rumored. That institution will be run by season-one fan favorite Jessica Lange, who will return as a spankin'-new character. According to Murphy, that locale was teased by Sarah Paulson's medium character in the first season.
