Movie: "Veeram"; Cast: Ajith Kumar, Tamannah Bhatia, Vidharth, Suhail Chandhok, Nassar, Santhanam, Pradeep Rawat, Ramesh Khanna, Abhinaya, Manochitra, Vidyullekha Raman, Devadarshini and Atul Kulkarni; Director: Siva; Rating: **1/2
In a constant effort to churn out a commercially successful product, our filmmakers completely ignore the fact that entertainment is not about hero-worshiping.
"Veeram" is a classic example, which elevates Ajith and leaves the rest of the ensemble cast behind. It's a pity to see talented actors merely reduced to a few scenes while the newcomers hardly have any presence. The film is dedicated to Ajith,.

Movie: "Jilla"; Cast: Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal, Mahat Raghavendra, Nivedha Thomas, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Soori, Pradeep Rawat and Thambi Ramaiah; Director: R.T Neason; Rating: **1/2
What do you expect when two superstars, Mohanlal and Vijay, are pitted against each other in a film where they play a father and son? Fireworks! There's plenty of it in "Jilla", and lots of commercial elements aimed at appealing to every fan of the superstars. But the film doesn't have an engaging screenplay to keep you hooked for three long hours and that's precisely why it's an exercise in futility.
The 10 steps approach followed by the makers of "Jilla" are as follows.
Step 1: Two superstars are cast. In order to give them equal.

Movie: 'Haridas'; Director: Gnr Kumaravelan; Cast: Kishore, Sneha, Prithviraj Das, Soori, Pradeep Rawat and Yugi Sethu; Rating: ***1/2 - emotionally uplifting film.
With precision and conviction, director Gnr Kumaravelan has poignantly narrated one of the best father-son relationships on screen. Out of a handful of films dealing about human disabilities, "Haridas" undoubtedly tops the list for not being preachy.
It addresses a rapidly growing domestic issue with subtlety and unparalleled sensitivity. One might not find this film entertaining but it's unlikely to find reasons to hate it either.

Call it passe or simply lazy filmmaking at its best, but all that "Sevakudu" manages at the end of the film is present you with a rehash of several Telugu films released over the years. Despite Srikanth's dignified performance, the film fails to evoke interest due to its uninspiring story.

The actresses who will be seen in the film include Manjari Fadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni, Bruna Abdullah, Maryam Zakaria and Kainaat Arora. When was the last time when a powerful performance from a villain became a talking point in the world of Hindi cinema? Every time Ajith kick-starts his project, there is a whole lot of expectations for his film. In spite of drawing so many flops on the row, Ajith turns to be the only actor to be standing out as a successful actor. But again, the results are same as previous films. ‘Asal’ surpasses on technical arenas, but it lacks strength completely in narration. The screenplay is so threadbare with more predictable parts. With the publicists boasting about Ajith Kumar’s participation into story, screenplay, dialogues and co-direction, the actor has drew more attention towards projecting him with stylish looks. But, there’s nothing such thing call finesse in his way of storytelling.
The film is yet another repetition of Ajith Kumar enacting the dual role of father-son.
