A Prison Break Limited Series Is In Development At Fox

3 June 2015 4:45 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The commissioning of television projects is always a gamble. A pitch that sounded like a guaranteed win can all too easily become the first casualty of pilot season, if the magic formula of talent – both onscreen and off – is not achieved. In these uncertain economic times, when regular broadcast channels are competing more and more with original content produced by streaming platforms, such as Netflix and Amazon, an aversion to such risk could well explain the current trend of revisiting past glories. As The X Files gears up for a limited season, and a 24 spin-off is rumoured, TVLine has exclusively revealed that the popular Fox series Prison Break is also officially in development for a limited series.

Prison Break began airing in January 2006, and quickly found a fan-base with its increasingly claustrophobic tale of conspiracy, political intrigue and family drama. Starring Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield and Dominic Purcell as his brother, »

Review: Animal

8 March 2015 5:09 PM, PDT | iconsoffright.com | See recent Icons of Fright news »

Scream Factory has done an excellent job putting fan favorites and long lost films out, in awesome looking Blurays that are typically filled to the brim with special features. They’ve also done quite the job putting out original films, films that made their debut on the Chiller network, but are now being released by Sf and with good reason. For the most part, the original films have been pretty entertaining, from The Monkey’S Paw and The Squad, to the subject of this review, the Brett Simmons-helmed creature feature, Animal. Taking what could have very easily been yet another horror film about youngsters getting picked off one by one by a silly looking monster, Animal gives you people who are instantly relatable and worth caring about before giving you one gut punch after another.

Following a group of youngsters taking a trip for fun, Animal wastes no time »

Celebrity Apprentice Recap: Sea Sick

26 January 2015 7:00 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Monday’s Celebrity Apprentice offered up a new recipe for disaster: Take nine ferocious celebs (at various points in their careers) and just add water.

The first hour tasked Teams Infinity and Vortex with planning duel boat tours of New York City, and as even the most casual Apprentice viewers could have predicted, there was some serious drama on the high seas.

Despite Team Infinity’s initial setback — its original theme was Mardi Gras, an experience unique to New Orleans — a quick course correction by project manager Brandi Glanville saved the day. (No comment on Kenya Moore’s performance. It was a thing that happened, »
