Known as "Q" in Hollywood and in the Korean Entertainment Industry, Lee began his career in 2001 with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). Starting as an assistant, Lee quickly rose to become Executive Assistant to both the Vice Chairman of SPE and Chairman of Columbia Pictures Motion Picture Group.

Lee joined Sony Korea in 2009 and supervised the launching of key figures of the Korean Entertainment Industry into Hollywood, including Jang Dong Gun, Lee Byung Hun, Jun Ji Hyun, Kwon Sang Woo and Big Bang's TOP.

In 2012, Lee was at the forefront in globalizing PSY's hit song "Gangnam Style." Lee is responsible for introducing PSY to Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and spearheaded PSY's activities in the US, resulting in PSY's worldwide success and becoming the #1 most viewed video in YouTube history.

Lee attended the University of Washington where he studied Business, Drama and played football for the Washington Huskies.
