What the hell happened at the end of The Flash season 3 finale? Major spoilers ahead...

Warning: contains spoilers.

Well, I have to hand it to the DC TV superhero universe. They sure do have some movement on their curve. Between the Supergirl season 2 finale and The Flash's Finish Line the CW has left us with two surprisingly ambiguous endings. But the ambiguity surrounding that Supergirl finale had more to do with other characters and the potential villain for next year. The Flash gave us something a little more immediately pressing... namely, the actual fate of our hero.

There are three massive questions to be answered here. I kind of have an idea of what's going on. Mostly.

Is Barry Allen dead?

What? No! Of course not. Don't you worry about a thing.

For one thing, as we saw, the mysterious newspaper

Marc Alan Fishman: DC Rebirth Saved Me

  • Comicmix
Followers of this column are about to do a double take. They will question my sanity, my constitution, and whether I’m now a pod-person. But, heed my words, for they are true.

I traveled a long and hard road from my suburban home 45 minutes north to a different suburb so that I could make a transaction I’d honestly figured I wouldn’t make for years to come. After giving up mainstream comics (and weekly comic purchases) for two years, I handed over three bucks and picked up DC Universe Rebirth.

And I loved it.

Stop laughing at me.

In all the lead up to the big epic oh my Rao event I may have said a few … ahem… embittered words over the whole announcement. And to be fair, a lot of my points will remain valid in spite of my newfound like of Geoff Johns’ epic apology for

Jessie Robertson reviews DC Universe: Rebirth #1…

It all begins here. Do not skip to the last page. Do not let a friend or message board ruin this comic for you. The future (and past) of the DC Universe starts here. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

They Said It: “Rebirth is about focusing in on the core of the character and their respective universe,” says writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. “It brings back what has been lost: the legacy of the characters, the love and the hope of the Dcu!”

First off ; Spoilers (of course-is there anything more fun to talk about?)

Second off; this is not a reboot, it’s a rebirth. It’s tricky though.

The Flash Season 2 Episode 6 Review – ‘Enter Zoom’

Jessie Robertson reviews the sixth episode of The Flash season 2…

Linda Park, in her infinite wisdom, answers the question we all want to know: is it better to be a superhero or to just have made out with one?

Lind Park, superhero? (condensed) I smile for two reasons tonight; one being Linda Park not just becoming a throwaway character from Season 1 who shared a name with a major Flash character; and with the presumption that Iris ” brother” will be back, I know Linda’s here to stay. The second is her training montage and “staging” with the Flash; Speaking in any kind of reality, Joe is 100% right; the plan is nuts and she’s awfully bad at what she’s attempting to do. I mean, Barry can’t even lay still (as he fell uncomfortably) but it’s still so much fun to watch. We apparently still haven’t gotten

The Flash Recap: We Brought a Zoom

The Flash Recap: We Brought a Zoom
We just watched the most harrowing — and quite possibly the best — episode of The Flash Season 2.

PhotosArrow/Flash Crossover ‘Team Photo’ Revealed — Who All Made the Cut?

The old adage goes that a hero is only as good as his villain, and in Zoom, this bright and bubbly superhero series has found a real piece of work, a speedster as cocky as he is ugly.

What Zoom ultimately does to our Flash, and that it was somewhat brought upon ourselves, is the great gut punch here, injecting Arrow‘s lighter, brighter cousin with a heavy dose of darkness.

To recap:

Learning that Dr.

‘The Flash’ Star Candice Patton Talks Wally West, Iris’ ‘Meaty’ Family Drama
The Flash” has already introduced plenty of powerful villains, but in the Nov. 10 episode, we’ll get a proper look at the show’s most formidable foe yet — the “speed demon” known as Zoom — when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team devise a plan to take down the big bad who has been grabbing metahumans from Earth-2 and depositing them in our world with a directive to kill our titular hero.

Last week, Team Flash had to wrap their collective minds around a doppelganger of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), the arrogant founder of Star Labs, and a villainous version of Linda Park (Malese Jow) from Earth-2, where she’s known as Dr. Light. This week, Linda will be right back in the action, thanks to a plan from Iris (Candice Patton) “to lure Zoom out by using Linda” as a Dr. Light decoy, according to Patton.

In last week’s episode,

The Flash Battles Dr. Light (Sort Of) In New Clip From Tomorrow’s Episode of The Flash

The first clip has been released from tomorrow night’s episode of The Flash, and it features the Scarlet Speedster battling it out with Dr. Light. Of course, the twist here is that this isn’t the Earth-2 Dr. Light; it’s her doppelgänger, Linda Park – Barry Allen’s ex-girlfriend – disguised as the villain in order to fool Zoom into arriving on Earth-1 so Team Flash can attempt to trap him.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode – titled “Enter Zoom” – which offers up more details about how the villain is going to factor into this instalment of The Flash:

After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her

With the first season of The Flash ending with the opening of the Multiverse, the first few episodes of the second season spent their time setting up the show’s new paradigm. What couldn’t be forgotten, however, is that the team itself needed to be rebuilt after having lost its most crucial member in the former Harrison Wells, aka Eobard Thawne. With Dr. Stein also having lost Ronnie, and by extension his stabilising force, the past two episodes have shifted the focus towards rebuilding the team, adding new members to replace those who are gone and add more strengths. Zoom Attacks in 'The Flash' Season 2 Photos

Zoom Attacks in 'The Flash' Season 2 Photos
Long before Season 2 of The Flash started airing, producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed at Comic Con that the main villain will be none other than Zoom. Tony Todd came aboard to provide the voice for Zoom, but the man hiding beneath the mask will be one of this season's biggest mysteries. While next week's episode, Enter Zoom most likely won't unmask this nefarious speed demon, Flash News has uncovered new photos from the episode, which give us our best look at Zoom yet.

As you can see in the photos below, Zoom's costume is quite similar to Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin), but much darker, with the mask covering Zoom's entire face. We can see in one of the photos that Zoom is overpowering young Barry, but we'll have to wait until next week to see how this battle ends. These photos also give us a glimpse at Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh

The Flash Season 2 Episode 5 review – ‘The Darkness and the Light’

Jessie Robertson reviews the fifth episode of The Flash season 2…

If there’s one constant in the Multiverse, its coffee….

Dopplegangers Unite! The appearance of Dr. Harrison Wells (Earth-2 version) last week was a cleverly crafted debut for a character that through last season’s acting and writing of said character, demanded he return; but we get him in a different flavor. Tom Kavanaugh gives us enough of Wells to know that we think he’s on the side of our heroes, while still keeping with his long glares that give us no details. It’s a flavor missing from the show and I’m glad to see him back. As Jay puts it, he may not be the same man as the Earth-1 counterpart, but he has just as many secrets. Let’s hope so! On other doppleganger fronts, Linda Park shows up again and it turns out her
