Mini Biography

Television personality Madison Michele joined TV Guide Network as an on-air host and entertainment correspondent, serving as a regular anchor for the channel's show Hollywood 411, which airs everyday Monday through Friday at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Madison Michele is the daughter of a Filipina mother and an American father. During her childhood, her Dad was dubbed "Dr. Doolittle" by neighbors, who were referring to the family's menagerie of animals including two dogs, two cats, fish, and a one-winged rescue pigeon named Inky. While studying at New York University when she was nineteen years old, Madison resumed her childhood career as a model with the world famous Elite modeling agency in an effort to pay for school. Over the next several years she traveled the world, living in Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo, and Sydney. By 1996, her selection as the spokesmodel for Wonderbra launched Madison to a new level. Twelve hundred hopefuls competed, 50,000 ballots were cast - and in the final vote, America chose Madison.

During this time Madison began enjoying a career as an actress and television host. She was regularly seen as a special correspondent for Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight, and as the host of ABC in Concert, a weekly show that took viewers to live performances all over the world. In 1998, she joined VH1 and quickly became one of the channel's most popular hosts, interviewing major names in music, television, and film. Madison studied acting and completed a two-year acting program at the William Esper Studio in New York City. She has landed roles in the independent film 1999, The Definite Maybe alongside Teri Garr and Eric Stoltz, and was cast in the FOX television movie Steel Chariots produced by Touchstone Television.

In 2001, Madison returned to college after nearly a decade and graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with a B.A. in History and a minor in Education. Her studies took her to South Africa in summer 2003, where she researched the legacy of Mandela and was fueled by the memory of her father, who also loved history. An experience she considers one of the highlights of her life, there she had the opportunity to photo-safari in Kruger National Park and developed a love and appreciation for elephants. Madison returned from the Republic of the Maldives where she enjoyed scuba diving with sea turtles and learning about the local "Adopt A Sea Turtle" program.

In the past several years, Madison has enjoyed hosting for television, including Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, Animal Planet's King of the Jungle, several shows for the Fine Living Channel, and now TV Guide Network. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Scott and her beloved daughter Camille Grace born July 4th, 2007.
