Madagascar 3: Europe’S Most Wanted

The Madagascar series continues with this third instalment and first not to feature a certain island country off the east coast of Africa. Zoo escapees Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer) and Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith) travel to Europe to track down their penguin friends who have embarked on a trip to Monaco. In an effort to elude capture from a zealous animal control officer (Frances McDormand), they join a travelling circus and cause havoc across the continent before finding the chance to return home to New York.

Though no world-beaters, the previous Madagascar films do have their charms and the third is similarly decent, »
