The second of the Final Destination films to be shot in 3D, Final Destination 5 was directed by Steven Quale, marking his feature film directorial debut. The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer, based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick. Producers Craig Perry and Warren Zide return for the fifth time, working with executive producers Richard Brener, Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, Erik Holmberg and Sheila Hanahan Taylor.

Tomorrow night (August 5th) Main Street in St.. Charles, Mo will be hosting a Final Destination 5 Pub Crawl at 10pm. Everyone will have a chance to win VIP Seats to the screening along with Final Destination Prizes! At each location along the crawl, you will have to play a game symbolizing a “new death” from the movie!

Final Destination 5 Gets IMAX Release

IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that the next installment in the popular Final Destination franchise, Final Destination 5, will be the first film in the horror series to open in IMAX. The film will be released in 223 domestic and select international IMAX 3D digital theatres simultaneously with the film's worldwide release on Aug. 12, 2011.
Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman stated, "Seeing Final Destination 5 in IMAX 3D will make this an entirely new experience for even the most die-hard fan. With the sheer size of the screen and the added intensity of IMAX 3D, this won't be for the faint of heart. But for those who love a good scare, it's not to be missed."

Exclusive: Welcome back Nadia! Shannon Elizabeth, who had been one of the last holdouts from the original American Pie cast, has signed on to appear in the upcoming Universal-produced fourquel, American Reunion. She will join her co-stars Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Tara Reid, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge and Mena Suvari who are all set to return. Elizabeth will reprise her role as Czech exchange student Nadia, which she played in the first and second American Pie movies. She is slated to start next week in Atlanta where the movie will be filmed. Katrina Bowden has joined the cast of American Reunion. She joins American Pie alums Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Tara Reid, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge and Mena Suvari. The film will be written and directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.
