In lieu of actual movie news (short on that today, alas), here’s the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly featuring a buff Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. You gotta wonder how much longer he can continue playing the mutant who never ages. Jackman is already 44, and although dude is in ridiculously good shape, if he can get another “Wolverine” movie made in, say, a few years, he’d be well into his late ’40s. Then what? A reboot, obviously. Don’t be surprise when you start hearing sites getting “exclusives” about a “Wolverine” reboot in, say, 3-4 years from now. You heard it here first! Until then, here’s the cover. And in case you missed it, here’s the latest trailer for the movie: “The Wolverine” stars Hugh Jackman, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, James Fraser, Tao Okamoto, Hal Yamanouchi, and is directed by James Mangold. »

Hugh Jackman has promised something "a little different" from The Wolverine.
The star said that the tone of the upcoming movie is not like his past X-Men outings.
"[Wolverine's] sort of interested in [the offer of mortality], because if your life is not great and there is a lot of regret and pain, would it be great to live on and on?" he told CNN.
"Yes, [The Wolverine] is a character piece, and I would say it may be a little darker in tone than the others, and it certainly feels a little different, [but] it's just as much fun. The action in this is probably more inventive than we've ever had before."
Jackman revealed that he sought advice from his friend Dwayne Johnson - aka The Rock - when approaching his exercise and diet regime for the movie.

Every once in a while, a film comes along and knocks it out the park with a brilliant marketing campaign that really goes the extra mile. James Mangold’s The Wolverine has definitely been one of those films, and a pretty big part of that is down to the awesome ink posters that we’ve been seeing.
The first poster came a while back, featuring the titular character himself, and was more recently followed by a Silver Samurai teaser poster. And now Fox have released a further two ink posters, giving us a great look at Viper and Yukio, going alongside the latest trailer that hit this week.

"The Wolverine" director James Mangold has been using his Twitter feed to talk a walk down memory lane, posting pictures from the film's production as the film nears it's July 26 release date.
Two of the tweets below show the director himself on set, directing actors and action sequences. Another tweet was taken this week, and announces that the film's score recording and sound mixing has begun. And the last tweet shows off Hugh Jackman getting up close and personal with Hiro Sanada. There aren't any major revelations to be found in any of the tweets, but it's still nice to see "The Wolverine" get a Twitter treatment similar to "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
