May Wynn was born on January 8, 1928 in New York City, New York, USA as Donna Lee Hickey. She is an actress, known for The Caine Mutiny (1954), The Violent Men (1955) and They Rode West (1954). She was previously married to Jack W. Custer and Jack Kelly.

Trivia (4)

A model, singer and chorine by the time she entered films, she initially went by her real name Donna Lee Hickey until she won the role of May Wynn in the classic The Caine Mutiny (1954). Thereafter, she adopted the name of this character for herself, a tactic the late Gig Young did in the 1940s.
Former sister-in-law of Nancy Kelly.
She tested for the role of the prostitute Alma in From Here to Eternity (1953) but lost out when the studio decided to gamble on the fresh-faced innocence of Donna Reed. Reed won an Oscar for her supporting work here.
Was a showgirl at New York City's famous Copacabana Club when she was 17.
