He auditioned for "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2002) in San Francisco (which aired on February 2nd, 2005) using his birth name "Christopher Noll." He performed an original rap that mentioned the 3 regular judges and the guest judge for the day, Brandy Norwood. His originality caught the eyes of the judges, and Paula Abdul really liked him, but he was ultimately not invited to continue on to Hollywood.
(July 2001) Starring in his own TV series on Comedy Central (the AU show imported to cable) called Midnight with Chris Wylde Starring Chris Wylde. Begins airing August 5, 2001 on Sundays at 11:30.
