Chris was born and raised in New Jersey the son of a preacher man and a preacher mama. Chris attended Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ and was selected for the NJ Governor's School of the Arts for acting. Chris graduated from the American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre-Performance. In the 80's he sang for the Queen Mother in Westminster Abbey and went to the Hit Factory in NYC and sang on the track Let the River Run with Carly Simon for Mike Nichols and his classic flick Working Girl. His group was the St. Thomas Boys Choir and they performed regularly on Fifth Ave. for Jackie O and other notable New Yorkers. In the 90's Chris hosted his own late night talk show which started on campus television at the American University and ended up on Comedy Central. His big screen debut was in Clint Eastwood's Space Cowboys flipping and flying alongside Tommy Lee Jones and another actor making his first film foray, Jon Hamm. Since landing in Hollywood in the summer of '98 Chris has starred in hundreds of episodes of TV, over a dozen films, and over 50 national commercials. Chris was married on October 10, 2009 and a year later on October 17, 2010 he and his wife had a happy healthy handsome son.

To promote his AMC show "FilmFakers" (2004) he disguised himself as the "hip hop nanny" and auditioned for "American Idol" (2002) in San Francisco (which aired on February 2nd, 2005) using his birth name "Christopher Scott Noll". He rapped and Paula Abdul really liked him, but the other judges decided to not invite him to Hollywood. VH1 named it one of the Top 40 Pranks in TV History.
(July 2001) Starring in his own TV series on Comedy Central (the AU show imported to cable) called Midnight with Chris Wylde Starring Chris Wylde. Begins airing August 5, 2001 on Sundays at 11:30.
(April 2007) Currently starring in daily on-line international comedy entertainment show Project-V. www.project-v.net
(June 2010) Created and executive produces the show Dad Camp on VH1
