Katie Wright thinks she was an ''easy target'' on 'The Apprentice'. The editorial and research director - who was fired from the BBC One show last night (25.04.12) - thinks Lord Alan Sugar was ''sick and tired'' of seeing her face in the boardroom for a third time, and the blonde candidate believes she ''didn't play the game'' as well as some of the other contestants. She said: ''I don't think I was right to be fired on this occasion, I think looking at the whole process I can see that Lord Sugar was just sick and tired of seeing »

Michael Copp became the third contestant fired from 'The Apprentice' last night (03.04.12). The businessman slammed project manager Katie Wright's decision to appoint him as head of sub-team for Phoenix even though he was suffering from gastric flu during the task. The team created a Mediterranean-style ketchup as part of the task to design a new condiment, but Lord Alan Sugar gave Michael the boot from the BBC One show because he felt the 31-year-old managing direct had failed to sell enough of the product. Michael exclusively told Bang Showbiz: ''I was sort of expecting to be brought back into »

4 April 2012 2:01 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Michael Copp became the first male candidate to be fired from this year's Apprentice after he failed to impress Lord Alan Sugar in a condiment task. Copp, Katie Wright and Ricky Martin ended up in the boardroom after team Phoenix's 'Belissimo' ketchup only sold 305 bottles, compared to team Sterling's 607 jars of chutney. > 'Apprentice' review: 'The best recovery since Dunkirk' Duane Bryan's winning team earned a trip to the race cars at Silverstone, while the losers were forced to defend the flop produce and argue over the problems in the Losers' Cafe. Sugar was highly critical of project manager Wright and production line leader Martin's efforts on the task, but appeared to take a dislike to Copp's complaints in the boardroom that he wasn't as educated or "born with (more) »

Lord Sugar pulled his trigger finger for the first time in Apprentice series eight last night, uttering the dreaded "you're fired" catchphrase at Bulgarian Bilyana Apostolova. But did Shugs make the right call in axing the blabbermouth risk analyst? Did he go back on his word by letting Katie Wright hide away on the first task? Bilyana Apostolova and Katie Wright are two of the first candidates to fall out in the opening episode of this year's Apprentice. The Bulgarian business hopeful rubs Wright up the wrong way when they are sent off to London Zoo to sell their print products to families.

Apostolova's more aggressive approach to sales, which includes approaching children to flog her products, frustrates the more mild-mannered Wright. The boys also run into problems when they attempt to sell some of their shoddily produced items on mass to (more) »

Azaria Shattered Ribs On First Date

14 February 2012 5:41 PM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Nervous funnyman Hank Azaria fell down and shattered his ribs on his first date following his divorce from actress Helen Hunt.

The Along Came Polly star was so distraught by their split in 2010 he started dating too soon and instantly made a fool of himself.

He tells Elle magazine, "It was kind of a disaster... I was leaving a friend's house who had some construction work going on. It was dark out. I remember saying to myself, 'Be careful, there are a lot of holes around here.' And I fell in a hole anyway - a six-foot hole - and I actually busted a couple of ribs.

"I was all dirty and bloody, and I showed up at this girl's door. You'd think I would have taken the hint that God was telling me I wasn't ready to date."

The actor has since found love with girlfriend Katie Wright, the mother of his two-year-old son Hank. »

Azaria Struggled To Get Over Hunt Because Of Billboards

14 February 2012 11:11 AM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Funnyman Hank Azaria struggled with his split from ex-wife Helen Hunt because her image kept popping up on billboards as he attempted to move on with his life.

The Smurfs and The Simpsons star and actress Hunt split in 2000, less than a year after they wed, and Azaria admits his ex's celebrity status made the break-up really tough - because he was constantly reminded of their failed romance.

He tells Elle magazine, "Getting over someone is a grieving process. You mourn the loss of the relationship, and that's only expedited by 'Out of sight, out of mind.' But when you walk outside and see them on a billboard or on TV or on the cover of a magazine, it reopens the wound. It's a high-class problem, but it's for real."

Azaria has since moved on with girlfriend Katie Wright, the mother of his two-year-old son Hank. Hunt is currently in a relationship with director Matthew Carnahan. They have a seven-year-old daughter, called Makena. »
