Barbara Jean Wong was born on March 3, 1924 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was an actress, known for The Red Dragon (1945), Chinatown at Midnight (1949) and The Chinese Ring (1947). She was married to Robert Wah Lee. She died on November 13, 1999 in Tarzana, California.

Famous for the role of "Arbedella Jones", young daughter of Amos Jones in the old-time radio show, "Amos N Andy".
It was recently discovered that Barbara Jean Wong was the voice of Judy Barton, one of the twins from the "Cinnamon Bear" series that first appeared on radio in 1937. The annual Christmas story has appeared yearly since then from the day after Thanksgiving for 26 fifteen minute programs leading up to Christmas day.
As a child actress, she was dubbed "the Chinese Shirley Temple" because her long black hair was styled in ringlets like Temple's.
