Everwood premiered on in 2002, and ran for four seasons, before being cancelled by The WB in 2006, as it was merging with Upn to form The CW. Created by Greg Berlanti, this family drama set in fictional Everwood, Colorado, featured widowed Manhattan neurosurgeon, Dr. Andrew Brown (Treat Williams). Every once in a while, a season-ending finale is literally hot stuff. Such is the case with NBC’s The Night Shift, which this Wednesday at 10/9c kicks off a two-part finale in which Jordan and Scott embark in a rescue mission that leads them into a rapidly spreading wildfire.
TVLine invited Jill Flint, who plays Jordan, to survey the hospital drama’s vial signs, offer Jordan some much-needed advice and preview the cliffhanger that just might leave everyone at San Antonio Memorial burned.

The Night Shift is bracing for a busy summer.
Just days after beginning its third season on NBC (June 1, 10/9c), the medical drama’s co-creator and cast members will appear on a panel at the Atx Television Festival, TVLine has learned exclusively.

NBC has added to its large inventory of firstrun summer programming with premiere dates for two more series: returning medical drama “The Night Shift” and new alternative competition series “Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge.”
The network announced Friday that “The Night Shift” will kick off its third season on Wednesday, June 1 at 10. That will give it a three-week head start opposite CBS’ new scripted drama “American Gothic,” which bows June 22.
“Night Shift,” one of three medical dramas currently on the NBC roster (alongside “Chicago Med” and “Heartbeat”), averaged a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 7 million viewers overall during its second season on Mondays last spring, according to Nielsen’s “live plus-7” averages. The series from Sony Pictures Television stars Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Ken Leung, Brendan Fehr, Robert Bailey Jr., Jr Lemon, Tanaya Beatty and Scott Wolf.
