Perception: Season Three Ratings

18 July 2014 12:25 AM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

Last year, viewership for Perception dropped 28% when compared to the first season's ratings. Will the numbers continue to fall, hold steady, or grow? Will this TNT TV show be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season? Stay tuned!

Perception follows Doctor Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack), a talented and schizophrenic neuropsychiatrist, as he assists his former student, FBI Special Agent Kate Moretti (Rachael Leigh Cook), solve complex cases. Other castmembers include Kelly Rowan, Arjay Smith, LeVar Burton, and Scott Wolf.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Exclusive: 'Party of Five's' Scott Wolf gets wet for Oprah's 'Where Are They Now?'

4 July 2014 12:00 PM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Former "Party of Five" star Scott Wolf has still got it. The actor was named as one of People's Sexiest Men Alive in 2013, and Oprah's Own network talked to him about the honor.  In the exclusive new clip at the top of the page, Wolf recalls the piece's photoshoot, which involved being doused in water and having his shirt strategically torn in order to show off his chiseled bod (a process which his wife Kelly describes as, shockingly, "hot"). He's 45, but you'd never know it by those pecs.  The episode also features some catching up with tabloid TV icon Geraldo Rivera (his pecs probably aren't as impressive), and the always-entertaining campy, vampy Elvira. The episode airs this Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. Et/Pt on Own. Wolf was recently seen in a guest role on NBC's "The Night Shift." »

Interview: Luke Macfarlane on “The Night Shift,” Gay Military Couples, “Brothers & Sisters” & More

30 June 2014 10:11 AM, PDT | The Backlot | See recent The Backlot news »

If you’ve been watching NBC’s new hospital drama The Night Shift, we’ve heard mention of Rick, the Bf of semi-closeted Drew (Brendan Fehr). In this week’s episode we finally get to meet him, and it’s not under the best circumstances.

In the episode, Rick is brought into the hospital for more of a medical than personal reason and Drew is immediately not comfortable having his personal life crash up against his professional life, where he’s tried very hard to keep the fact that he’s gay close to the vest.

Luke Macfarlane plays Rick and the Brothers & Sisters alum talked to TheBacklot about the role, how gay couples in the military handle their relationship, working with Fehr as well as what else he’s been up to.  Let’s check in with one of our favorite out actors.

The cute but dumb recruit Charlie is in the back, and initiates the conversation that Drew has been dreading:

Charlie: “Did you hear about that gay dude in C Company?”

Mikey: “I heard the rumor. Who cares?”

Charlie “I do. Look, if i’m getting shot at some sniper in Syria or Iraq, I don’t need the guy who’s supposed to be covering mass checking it out instead.”
