Michael Wisher was born on May 19, 1935 in London, England as Anthony Michael Wisher. He was an actor, known for Doctor Who (1963), Doctor Who: 30 Years in the Tardis (1993) and Wartime (1987). He died on July 21, 1995 in Dacorum, Hertfordshire, England.

He was asked to play Davros again in both "Destiny Of The Daleks" and "Resurrection Of The Daleks", but stage tours prevented him from reprising the role.
He was the first actor to play Davros, the creator of the Daleks, in Doctor Who (1963) or Doctor Who (2005). He played the character in the 1975 serial "Genesis of the Daleks". He was succeeded in the role by David Gooderson, Terry Molloy and Julian Bleach.
