- Leon de Winter was born on February 26, 1954 in 's-Hertogenbosch, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. He is a writer and director, known for Looking for Eileen (1987), De grens (1984) and De verwording van Herman Dürer (1979). He is married to Jessica Durlacher. They have two children.
