2009 Emmy predictions: Find out who will win!

17 September 2009 3:49 PM, PDT | EW - Ausiello Files | See recent EW.com - The Ausiello Files news »

Not to toot my own horn, but I was pretty much the only person on the planet to predict that Brian Cranston would win the Emmy last year for Breaking Bad. Bear that in mind as you peruse my 2009 picks. Remember though, If you use any of the info below in your office pool, I'm legally entitled to receive 20 percent of the jackpot. Also keep in mind this is who/what I think will win, not necessarily who I want to win. Best Comedy Series Entourage Family Guy Flight of the Conchords How I Met Your Mother The Office *30 Rock Weeds * Barring a Family Guy upset, Emmy voters will go to there again with Tina Fey's rollicking (albeit increasingly uneven) satire. Best Actor In A Comedy Series Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock Steve Carell, The Office Jemaine Clement, Flight of the Conchords *Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory Tony Shalhoub, Monk Charlie Sheen, …

Lindsay's Cell Phone Is of Utmost Importance

21 August 2009 12:31 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Lindsay Lohan was out in about in NYC yesterday, and while she didn't join Samantha at Charlotte Ronson's party, Lindsay still experienced some drama after leaving her cell phone at a deli. When she went back to retrieve it, the man behind the counter insisted on checking the security tape before handing it back, and LL got so upset she called the cops. Lindsay also showed up on the season premiere of Project Runway last night as a guest judge where she, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia, and Heidi Klum kicked off the first designer of the season - who happened to be a dead ringer for Samantha Ronson. If you watched, let us know what you thought of the show's return, and don't forget to choose your favorite contestant of all time as Buzz's competition heats up. I'm a Celebrity's Finalists Plan Books, Exercise Tapes & More

25 June 2009 12:15 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

He might not have taken the jungle crown last night on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, but NBA vet John Salley certainly has postshow plans fit for a king. We caught up with John, the show's winner Lou Diamond Phillips and first runner-up Torrie Wilson this morning and here's what they're up to now... John, who came in third, says his book proposal is being shopped to publishers now. He's also revamping his website (www.johnsalleyfoods.com) with newly penned recipes and has a new syndicated radio show, which starts in September. The book "is not a tell-all, but a tell a lot!" joked John, who handled most of the cooking duties on the show. "And I …

Jungle reunion was surprisingly free of Spencer and Heidi drama.

Even with the return of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the season finale of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" was decidedly more relaxed than previous episodes, and Lou Diamond Phillips was eventually declared the show's winner.

With the exception of comedy duo Frangela, all of the show's contestants returned to camp Wednesday night to find out who would be crowned king or queen of the jungle from the remaining three contestants: Phillips, Torrie Wilson and John Salley.

After all three finalists won the final food challenge, they met up with the ousted contestants for what hosts Damien Fahey and Myleene Klass called a "huge jungle reunion." In a montage of interviews, it seemed clear …

The Young Guns actor was named King Of The Jungle after defeating former wrestler Torrie Wilson in last night's live final. Phillips Crowned King Of The Jungle

25 June 2009 1:06 AM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Actor Lou Diamond Phillips is king of the jungle - he was crowned the winner of U.S. reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The La Bamba star beat out competition from fellow finalists, former wrestler Torrie Wilson and retired basketball player John Salley, to be victorious on the show - which saw a host of celebrities live in the Costa Rican tropics.

Phillips was handed a cheque for his chosen charity, the Art Has Heart Foundation, after he was declared the champion.

And he insists this was the strangest situation he has ever been in: "This experience is head and shoulders and far to the left of anything I've ever done. No movie set ever compared to this - this is the real deal and it's been an amazing trip,"

The finale comes after weeks of drama on the show - with Stephen Baldwin quitting out after insects laid eggs under his skin and Janice Dickinson being struck down by a bout of bronchitis.

All the the former contestants returned for the final show, including reality TV couple Heidi and Spencer Pratt, who walked off the survival competition after they clashed with their fellow campers. …

Lou Diamond winner in 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!

NBC's oddly riveting reality series "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!'" wrapped the bungle in the jungle ordeal, which saw a fervently religious Heidi Montag, a weirdly menacing Spencer Pratt, regular Joe Daniel Baldwin, Jesus lovin' Stephen Baldwin, loogie hocking Janice Dickinson, thighs o' steel Torrie Wilson, good egg Patti Blagojevich, vegan gentle giant John Salley, bubbly Sanjaya Malakar, happy Holly Montag and the comedy duo Frangela try to stick it out in the jungle and face a myriad of challenges. Lou Diamond Phillips, the father figure of the lot, took the win. Spencer Pratt, a big to-do about nothing, still is taking pot shots for cheap publicity: MTV Shows Phillips earned the title of King …

On Wednesday night's finale of NBC's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here," actor Lou Diamond Phillips was named winner. Lou bested wrestler Torrie Wilson and former basketball pro John Salley in the finale, taking the crown for his preferred charity, the Art Has Heart Foundation. The non-profit provides college scholarships to low and moderate income high school students who have been negatively affected by geography, family circumstances or other challenges. To find out how you can help, visit www.arthasheart.org. Controversial stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt came back for the show's finale. Heidi told the show's hosts that she feels better after being evacuated from the Costa Rican camp due to an ulcer. "The doctor says that I'll be ok if I stay out of the jungle," she said cheerfully.

One Celebrity Gets Out of Here a Winner

Glory be, it's over. It came down to the Young Gun, the lady wrestler and the retired basketball star for all the marbles on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! on Wednesday's finale. All of the season-two contestants—minus comedy duo Frangela—returned to the Costa Rican jungle to lend their moral support to finalists Lou Diamond Phillips, Torrie Wilson and John Salley, who had managed to avoid the stomachaches, bug bites and lack of voter support that took their fellow castmates out of the game over the past four weeks. And after one more round of rubbing elbows with snakes and taking a bucket of worms to the face, the grand prize (for charity) went to... Still …

Who Will Win the Crown on 'I'm a Celebrity'?

"I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here" airs its finale tonight, and either John Salley, Torrie Wilson or Lou Diamond Phillips will earn the title of king or queen of the jungle. Last night, Sanjaya Malakar and Patti Blagojevich were voted out of the Costa Rican jungle, and this morning they talk to "The Insider" about the three remaining contenders: Sanjaya says that it is impossible to guess who will win, because they each have individual strengths, but here is how he sees them: "Torrie is representing the women in the competition, which is a big motivation. She is an incredibly strong woman, mentally and physically. She is definitely driven to win. She is a trash talker. She likes to get in your head, but in a playful way. I think she is endearing. I think a lot of people have connected to her on that level. "Most of …

Looks like Spencer and Heidi were wrong again.

After they predicted that Heidi's sister, Holly Montag, would win "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!," Holly's jungle adventure came to an end Thursday night. "The Hills" co-star, (who joined the "Celeb" cast early last week to replace Speidi) and self-appointed "world's first supermodel" Janice Dickinson were the third and fourth players America voted off the show.

Despite her ultimate ouster, Holly proved herself a worthy contender on the series. Right off the bat, she was eager to compete in as many challenges as possible, even helping the women emerge victorious in her first Food Challenge. However, Holly's biggest claim to fame during her time in the jungle, …

Earlier today, "The Insider" confirmed through a source that Janice Dickinson received medical treatment over the weekend -- how is she doing now? On Monday night's episode of NBC's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here," Janice was rushed to a medical center after feeling nauseous and vomiting profusely. After spending a night receiving treatment for a viral infection, Janice was back at camp and better than ever. "I'm so glad to be back in the jungle," she said upon her return. "She came back bubbly and effervescent," Lou said, while John commented, "This morning she's back in camp with such a positive energy." Other happenings on Monday night's episode included Sanjaya Malakar winning immunity, Patti Blagojevich and Torrie Wilson won the luxury trial, and John was named the new camp leader.
