Met lovely actress and future wife Joan Pringle on the set of "That's My Mama" (1974) when she replaced Lynne Moody in the role of Clifton Davis' sister Tracy during the 1975 season.
Making his film debut with Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970), he was featured in a couple of "blaxploitation" films during the 1970s, including Cleopatra Jones (1973) and Black Eye (1974).
