Harry Wilson was born on November 22, 1897 in London, England. He was an actor, known for Some Like It Hot (1959), Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964) and One Million B.C. (1940). He died on September 6, 1978 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

In addition to his extensive career doing character parts in almost 200 films, which started at the very end of the silent era, he also had an additional career as Wallace Beery's stand-in and double for approximately 25 years.
Wilson and actor Rondo Hatton were both afflicted with acromegaly, a disorder that distorts the features, making them look heavy and ugly.
